Hello! Today I am sharing this project over on the WPlus9 blog featuring more of the Winter Collection.
To begin I embossed the snowflake image from Merriest Snowflake in clear onto Distress Watercolor Cardstock.
I painted over the embossed snowflake background using Liquid Watercolors in Sunshine, Key Lime, Aquamarine & Sapphire.
For the sentiment I used the Sending Cheer die. I die cut a few out of white cardstock as well as one one out of White Glitter Cardstock, adhering them together with spray adhesive. I embossed a coordinating sentiment from Merriest Snowflake in clear and blended Blueprint Sketch ink over the embossing so that it would match well with the painted background.

October 31, 2018 at 3:13 pmThere’s a surprisingly lot of stuff goin’ on here, and I love it! When you use water colors, do you not wipe it off the embossing like you do with ink? And did you let the colors dry at any point before adding more? That’s okay, just keep me wondering. I’ve never used a nest of string, either. I think that was before I started making cards. Gonna hafta give it a try! Thanks for sharing and teaching me! And thanks for a video, too!

I tried clicking on the image, but that just goes to the photos on Flickr. I can always go to the affiliated blog post to see the videos, just not directly in the emails.
Wasn’t sure if you were aware. Or, maybe it’s just me.
