2019 Layton’s Legacy Fundraiser & Card Drive

Hi there! Today I am joining my friend, Lea, as we remember her son, Layton, with a special fundraiser blog hop & card drive. We are raising money to purchase a $50 Starbucks gift card for all 50 beds in the level 4 NICU at the U of M Masonic Children’s Hospital in Minneapolis, MN.

Pinkfresh Studio-Layton's Legacy

My project features the Layton’s Legacy stamp & die set. I embossed the butterfly & sentiment in clear and blended Pinkfresh Studio inks using Mint, Ocean Breeze & Sapphire. I die cut a window into Fog cardstock and popped it up over the butterfly.

Here are some ways to help if you are interested:

DONATE – directly to Layton’s Legacy GoFundMe Fundraising Link.

SHARE – not everyone is able to financially donate, but sharing on your social media outlets is welcomed & helpful.

CREATE – this year’s card drive theme is “Sensitive Sympathy” geared towards parents who have lost a pregnancy due to miscarriage or stillbirth, infant or child. They can get all the card drive info HERE. (It will also be linked in my main post.)

You can check out Lea’s post for more information on this special Fundraiser & Card Drive as well as the Pinkfresh Studio blog for more inspiration using this special stamp set. Thanks so much for stopping by!

I was a Neonatal Intensive Care Certified Critical Care Registered Nurse for 30 years and had experience caring for beautiful babies with your son’s condition. It was always heart wrenching to see what the babies and parents had to go through. It was also a blessing for me to help the babies and parents live from day to day. I am sorry for your loss and I know your son is in heaven being held by Jesus and the angels. God Bless You.
