Waffle Flower-Everyday Pattern Papers

Hi there! Today I’m sharing a few projects that I’ve created using some of the gorgeous new Everyday Pattern Papers by Waffle Flower.

Waffle Flower-Yippee, Fresh Rainbow, JJ's Rainbows paper

These papers tickle my rainbow lovin’ heart. Not only do they have bright, vivid colors and fun patterns, but they are 80lb. in weight, which would make them be suitable for card bases.

This first card uses some rainbow pattern paper from JJ’s Rainbows paper pack. I used the Fresh Rainbow panel die, which coordinates perfectly with the pattern paper. For the sentiment I used the Big Dots Sentiments set.

I used more of JJ’s Rainbow paper on this next card along with the Fresh Rainbow panel die, but this time I turned it into a shaker card.

For the sentiment I used the Fresh Rainbow stamp set. To create the shaker I backed the panel with acetate and lined the back with foam strips. To fill the shaker I used Pink Moonstone sequins.

My next card features strips of cardstock from the Half-Half Unicorn & Enchanted pattern paper packs.

Waffle Flower-Yippee

I used the Yippee stamp set & coordinating dies for the sentiment & images.

Here’s a video to show you how I created these cards.

Laura, you are a nut! ! When you said that you’re a night owl, I understood that’s ANOTHER reason why I enjoy you so much. I am right there with you. Just don’t ask me to be coherent before 10 AM. I love your rainbow-ism. Don’t stop–it’s very cheery!

So glad this was a video post! You are so very entertaining, but a great teacher, too! (Well, maybe not a home-school-teacher. . . .) The three cards are awesome . You make me want to rush right into the craft room and recreate them all! But, alas, after an early-morning senior run to Costco and a Zoom meeting with my Bible study group, on top of the ever-mending back, nothing left to use for crafting. No zip left. But I will treasure what I’ve learned and smile for awhile reflecting on your great tutorial Thank you!

    Laura,

I’ve listened to your videos for years, thank you for the humor in them, it always cracks me up. It really made me laugh when you said that you are a procrastinator, you don’t go by any real schedule, and you’re a night owl, because I’m all those things, it drives my husband crazy. I think you also said, it could’ve been on another video, that you don’t like to cook either, I hate cooking as well, but as I’ve got my young one here doing distance learning, my husband asked me if we could get some semblance of order. I had him listen to your video. Yeah, after 28 years , it’s not gonna change. I’m an introvert and I almost never leave any comments anywhere, but it is good to know that I’m not the only one who does these things and openly admits it, now I have proof. And yes, I decided because your videos are such a crack up, I put it on “play all” and binge listened to all of them while I was working until 1am.

    Thanks so so much,
    Always keep posting your videos.

    Mona
