Craft Hour with Pinkfresh Studio

Hi there! Today I have a colorful project to share that I created with my talented friend, Jeff Lindberg. I joined Jeff for an episode of Craft Hour over on the Pinkfresh Studio’s YouTube channel.

Pinkfresh Studio-Sweet Blooms, Simply Diamonds die, Lea Ornate Uppercase, Heather Lowercase, Simply Sentiments-Hello

I asked Jeff beforehand what he would like to do, and he said, “Laura, teach me to blend like buttah:)” So that’s what we did! For the background we embossed the Sweet Blooms in clear and blended Pinkfresh Studio inks for the color. We added the Simply Diamonds die cut over the emboss resist and for the sentiment we used Lea’s Ornate Uppercase & Heather’s Lowercase Alpha dies. I added a coordinating embossed sentiment from the Simply Sentiments: Hello set.

Here’s the Craft Hour Live replay if you haven’t seen it already. There were so many lovely familiar faces joining us live. I had the best time, but I’m not gonna lie, I was pretty nervous to do a live for the first time. Jeff was such a wonderful host. I’d join him again anytime.

It was a fun live! And you finally convinced me to order some Pinkfresh inks! Of course, their sale didn’t hurt!

The oil used in European McDonald’s is different, is what I’ve heard. I lived for a year in northern France and have visited Spain, the Netherlands, England, Slovakia, Austria and more. The fries always taste better in the US. Way to go on the ice cold Coke, too, Laura. I KNEW you and I had a lot in common! Jeff is right – ENDEARING, not a broken record. You make me smile with your patented phrases. My fave is “chaps my khakis.” How did you come to live in Germany? I just love your work and will consider staying up until midnight to get the Pinkfresh collab later this week at SSS. I so wish that the collabs (all of them) were not “limited” but could be reordered. I don’t understand who loses if there is a reorder. The customers are happy, the designers and distributors are happy……

Jeff, I think you may be the long-lost twin of Jesse Taylor Ferguson! You two even sound alike at times. I SO enjoyed this episode and am going to subscribe after this. I hope you have a nice vacation and I’ll tune in again soon! Thanks for such a terrific hour!!

This was such a great video, Laura!! I loved seeing how this card came together and had NO idea I could use my Glossy Accents as an adhesive – mind blowing! You’ve inspired me to do more emboss resist (it’s been a loooong time) because that background was absolutely beautiful. Thanks for sharing these tips!
