Holly Jolly Release Blog Hop

Hi there! Today I’m joining Simon Says Stamp for their Holly Jolly Release Blog Hop and sharing a project featuring the Layered Hills die set.

SSS-Layered Hills, Thinking of You Sentiment Strips

I die cut several colors of solid colored cardstock and layered them for this soothing mountain scene.

SSS-Layered Hills, Thinking of You Sentiment Strips

For the sentient I used one of the Thinking of You Sentiment Strips with a Sentiment Label die.

Here’s a video to show you how I created this card.

Bailey is amazing! She’s got the creative genes working in her favor! The colors are great. Not ones I would have thought to pick, but that’s because I don’t have those genes! They remind me of the sand dunes right over yonder. (I’m pointing over to the Monterey Bay coastline, just a few miles away. I never leave the house these days because getting done the porch steps is kinda difficult. But it can be done, so now I want to go for a short ride and see the ocean and the sand dunes. Oh, ladies, look where at the stroll you put in my head! Thank you!!

When I saw this in the release, I was unsure about it. I thought “Well, I have ones like that” but now I am considering it b/c I see more possibilities. That’s really what you are, Laura… you’re a possibility enlightener. You’re awesome and I bet your soup and bread was lovely.
Enjoy your week!! Blessings on you and yours – esp Bailey!
