Happy Birthday Party

Hi there! Today I’m sharing this colorful birthday card over on the My Favorite Things YouTube channel featuring some of the new July release products.

MFT-Happy Birthday Party Die-namics, Watercolor Wash Free Form Stencil, A2 Double Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics

For the background I used the Watercolor Wash Free Form Stencil with distress inks. Then I die cut the blended panel using one of the A2 Double Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics. For the sentiment I used the Happy Birthday Party Die-namics set with different shades of solid colored cardstock. You can check out the video for this card HERE! Thanks so much for stopping by!

I love it! And it is so simple! I love how you included the negative H in the birthday greeting.

My granddaughter (who turns 11 in December!) would love that fun, colorful card! I absolutely need (want?) that Watercolor Wash stencil! Hope Emma has a wonderful birthday and gets everything on her wish list!

Hi, LB – In no particular order:
    1. Happy b-day to Emma! If you get a dog, PLEASE consider a rescue!!! There are SO MANY in need of rescuing right now.
    2. I think you meant “pennant” —– “pendant” is like a necklace (related to “pendulum”).
    3. Emma will learn to prioritize as she gets older but it’s good that she has a list. Eleven is still (I think) a nice age. You know the drill of the teenage years.
    4. Love the card. LOVE IT!! I think you must be a little “off” in some fundamental way to do the mazillion little bitty bits of foam squares on the backs of those letters…. or it’s probably just like you have WAAAAAY more patience than I. But it looked fabulous!
    5. I ordered this die set the day of the release. Glad I did. It reminded me of a similar Happy Holidays / Merry Christmas from 2019 or 2020. I just could not resist it.
    6. I am now considering in earnest this watercolor splotch stencil. I have seen it at least 3x in videos where great cards resulted. Into the cart it will go….
    7. Love ya and wish you a terrific week! I’m going on a trip, so if you don’t see props from me, you’ll know why. I’ll try to stay with you via IG.
    Best,
    L in PA
