Hi there! Today I’m sharing a project using the September Card Kit by Simon Says Stamp.
To begin I embossed the large sunflower image from Sunflower Garden, which is included in the card kit. I embossed it in clear and blended several distress inks & Orange Crush ink for the color.
I fussy cut the image out and popped it up onto a white panel then flicked everything with Black Soot. For the sentiment I used the Happy Birthday die with silver metallic cardstock. I also embossed a coordinating sentiment from Slimline Florals.

I just made several of them…and was very glad I had all the supplies on hand…including the beautiful kit with both of those gorgeous stamp sets. My cards turned out so beautiful!! Thank you for the inspiration. I love all of your creations, but THIS one…very stunning! One of my cards will be mailed ASAP as a CONGRATS card to my 13 year old granddaughter for making the school volleyball team! This card is very versatile and can be used with almost any sentiment. It’s just perfect!
