Lovely Layers: Tulips

Hi there! The newest Modern Spring release by Honey Bee Stamps is now available! You can check out all of the fun, new products HERE! Yesterday I shared this project over on the Honey Bee Stamps YouTube channel featuring several of these new products.

Honey Bee Stamps-Lovely Layers: Tulips, Spring Leaves A2 Pierced Cover Plate, Squeeze the Day

For the background I used the Spring Leaves A2 Pierced Cover Plate on white cardstock. The gorgeous blooms feature the Lovely Layers: Tulips Honey Cuts set. For the sentiment I used the Squeeze the Day stamp and die set, and I added some Back to Basics Gem Stickers for embellishment.

I love your tulips, I never think that I can use different colors. As for Hank, take heart, the mud won’t last forever. We have a Welsh Terrier and he collects little balls of snow all over that we have to brush and pull off, followed by the mud which we have here in CT now too. We tend to use a dishpan outside with a bit of water in it, then dry off with an old towel that we keep at the door for drying off when he’s wet from rain and snow. Once the towel is wet from the first dry, it usually is wet enough to clean off the next time he’s been out. You will be washing muddy towels but what’s another load of laundry, right? Good Luck!

Good luck w/ Hank. Your card is beautiful. I really like how HBS created a graphic map for the dies to fit back on the backer after use. It’s like a puzzle, kind of. I agree that I have a hard time getting dies back into / onto the packaging after use sometimes. Thanks for the video.

A trick for dies—I buy large magnetic sheets (used for covering heater vents) at the hardware store (very inexpensive). Then I take a pic of how the dies are arranged in their packaging and transfer them to the sheet. I also make a note on the pkg of the total number of dies.
When our Goldens got muddy paws we cleaned them before they entered the laundry room, where they slept on a blanket until they were dry and smelled less like wet dog. They preferred to spend most of their time on the deck so were only inside when it was too cold or rainy.
