Hi there! Today I’m joining Pinkfresh Studio for their February Release Blog Hop.
My first project features the Geo Tiles Hot Foil Plate along with the coordinating Geo Tiles Stencil Set. I blended the background with Seaside, Bubble gum, Apricot & Meadow ink.
I used the Brushed Sentiments Hot Foil Plates in silver & dies for the sentiment. I added some silver metallic pearls for embellishment. How gorgeous is that silver geo tiles background?
My next card uses the Songbirds on Branches Hot Foil Plate along with the coordinating Stencil Set & Die Set.
I added another sentiment in gold using the Brushed Sentiments Hot Foil Plate & coordinating die along with gold metallic pearls for embellishment.

Well, I have had the impression (no pun intended) that I would end up “needing” a Glimmer, so I bought a Platinum (still in the box) just so that I could get the Glimmer later. Glad to hear your review. I think both your cards are pretty — having said that, though, I like the birds better. I am not one to put pinky tones next to orangey tones. Lots of crafters do that all the time; not my fave. You always hit a home run, though, whatever you do.
The new release looks good. I have had to pull back from watching Pinkfresh b/c of work demands. But love them and their products. Who knows? Maybe I’ll be chosen as a winner.

You know exactly how to soften or deepen the colors to their full advantage, and you’re even brave enough to leave subtle white spaces. BUT… what I really liked was watching you use your new Glimmer Hot Foil machine. I too just purchased one and was torn as to which machine to get. I have been using the Gemini Jr. Die Cutting machine and really love it, but… the warping of the plates was making me nuts! I wasn’t sure I wanted to go to the expense of a Hot Foil machine from Gemini if I would experience the same thing. Soooo, I purchased a new Platinum 6 die cutting machine and the Glimmer Hot Foil machine too. After hearing your story I was so glad I followed my hunch. Fabulous cards today and great tutorial video!
