You Mean the World To Me Card Kit

Hi there! Today I’m sharing three card ideas using the Limited Edition You Mean the World to Me Card Kit over on the Simon Says Stamp blog.

This first card features the Layering Butterfly Stencil Set included in the kit along with a Heidi Swapp Circle Gem for embellishment and a Tim Holtz Idea-ology Sentiments Label stickers for the sentiment. All of these things are included in the kit.

My second card uses the You Mean the World to Me die on vellum and a background panel of Paige Evans Splendid Patterned Paper included in the kit.

SSS-Flower Bundle, Better with Mom

My last card uses the Flower Bundle die included in the kit along with a sentiment from the Better with Mom stamp set.

So funny… I saw “Stephanie” as the sender but am trying to do 10 things at once… and I thought, “Wow, those look like Laura’s work, though…” Now I know why! Up to now, I have resisted this set. $60 seems steep…. But now I am seeing that there really IS a lot to it. I’ll see if it’s still available when payday arrives.
I love your cards, Laura… yes, it’s a cone. I will worry about you with regard to “the words are hard” when you start talking like my mom. My husband and I play “guess the noun” when she is talking about taking “the thing” or “the stuff” to “the place.” GAAAA.
Thanks for the excellent video. I did not see a three-fer coming but will happily take it every time!
Oh, and regarding May Day… I think you’re more used to celebrating it b/c of living in Germany? Maybe? It’s a big deal there, isn’t it?

Why do you always make it look so easy? Seriously… how long does it REALLY take you to come up with a card design? I get new products and I forget what I was going to make with them and then my creative juices dry up. Your projects always come out clean, simple and gorgeous. Thank you for making me crazy! 🙂
