Hi there! Today I’m sharing a simple fall card using the Cozy Autumn Hugs from the November Card Kit by Simon Says Stamp.
I was inspired by this cute graphic that I saw over on Instagram. I loved the bright, happy leaves on the light pink background and wanted to try to do something similar on my project.
So I started with a light pink solid panel of Concord & 9th cardstock(ballet slipper is the shade). I stamped the leaves with bright inks and embossed the sentiment in white, adding a few dew drops for embellishment.

October 27, 2023 at 11:44 amCute card. The pink is unexpected. Pink is everywhere these days. Great job! I’m impressed at how you see something like that and figure out to make a card from it. I’ve only had inspiration like that once – I liked the three or four colors in a guy’s plaid shirt and decided to use them as the color set for a card.
