Waffle Flower November Hop

Welcome to the Waffle Flower November Release Blog Hop! I’m happy to be hopping with the folks from Waffle Flower to show you all the fun new stuff awaiting you on the Waffle Flower website! Be sure to check out each stop in today’s blog hop for fun, inspiration, and chances to win some of these new release goodies!

Waffle Flower-Pop-Up Cat Card

I had so much fun creating this card! I used the Simple Bookcase Die for the bookshelf and the Simple Shelves Stencil Duo to add the books and accessories. For the sentiment & cats I used the Cattitude Stamp & Die Set.

Waffle Flower-Pop-Up Cat Card

The inside is really the star of the show! I used the Inside Pop-up Shelves Die to create the pop-up feature. I added the accessories using the Shelf Add-ons Dies. I added more cats using the Cattitude dies and a funny sentiment using the Pet Thoughts Stamp & Die Set.

Here is a video showing how I created this card.

October is a perfect name for a black cat. Your card is so sweet. The kitties look so innocent but we know better. I had to giggle that both of your pets are named after family members. I named my first born after my Aunts dog. She had a beautiful Newfoundland named Mariah. And I loved it.

Frank is adorable. And, no, I don’t think it’s disrespectful to name a pet after someone (unless it’s a snake or a spider or some other disgusting creature!). We have three dogs and four cats and I can attest to the fact that having a dog is like having another child but having a cat is like having another teenager! Count me in as one of those people who would love to have this card!s I love it!

You are so fun. 🙂 I don’t think it’s disrespectful to name an animal you love after a person you love/have loved. It keeps them close! 🙂 Fantastic card. Thanks for showing how to make a pop-up!
