January 9, 2026 at 1:49 pmLove the PF brushes.
Don’t have many OLOs – maybe 10? I don’t love Copics, though. It always bothered me that I had to deal w/ a USELESS chisel tip or a too-big-for-many-images brush tip. The small tip was so hard. Then mine started to dry up. Ugh. I got my first batch from another Gina K watcher – we met in the chat bar and she DM’d me about buying hers. So at least I did not pay full price for all of them but I bought another 50-55 on a marker website recommended by Dan West. And I have not used them enough to justify the $$.
I like your videos the way they are. I get nothing done during live videos b/c I like the chat bar and I watch the crafting that is going on but with your videos, I can focus on YOU and your card b/c there is no chat.
Thanks for another awesome tutorial.

January 9, 2026 at 3:13 pmOh yeah, I forgot to reply about lives…. I almost always only watch lives as background noise when I’m working in my studio. Once in a while something will catch my attention and I’ll back it up to watch a little bit, then back to background noise. Keep your shorter videos, but sometimes creators are becoming TOO worried about keeping videos short and speed through or cut out too much just to keep it to 15 or 20 minutes. I can watch a 45 minute video that is instructional, even with maybe some personal info interspersed like Amy R and Kelly Taylor do. I don’t have time to listen to chit chat or to hear the answers to questions I didn’t hear. Just my 4cents worth….

January 9, 2026 at 6:34 pmLOVE the card! The colors, the graphic feel, the stencil that I will now HAVE to buy
(thanks for that!)
I prefer to watch EDITED VIDEOS because I don’t want to take the time to watch a long
(some are over 2 HOURS long!) video. I would say, if you want the live interaction with the viewers, go ahead and record a live and post that, but PLEASE also post an edited version of the replay (for those of us with a short attention span 😄)

Melanie Barrett
January 9, 2026 at 11:23 pmLove your card!
Love the PF large brushes for putting down a lot of color softly!
The last Copics I have bought have dried up way too soon, and some older ones I have are still going strong, so I can’t help but think something is not the same with Copics. I have started using OLO, and at first I thought they were easier to blend, but they seem to run out of ink pretty quickly. I can handle a few lives here and there, and thank God I can fast forward if they get off track or are just too long.

January 9, 2026 at 11:38 pmGreat stencil design and colors! Beautiful card!

January 10, 2026 at 8:08 amGreat card, great colors, great video! I don’t really watch lives, too long for me lol I love ink brushes, but do not own any brand name ones, and Copic Markers all the live long day lol TFS!!!

January 10, 2026 at 8:26 amNice card. I like the gradient.

January 10, 2026 at 8:26 amGreat card, & yes the Rose ink does “pop”! I will not go the Olo route after investing in copics. I like them & am comfortable with them. I do like the PF blender brushes, but my recent purchase of Waffle Flower big brushes has made me happy. They are humongous & fast. Your videos are great just the way they are. I feel like I don’t have time to spend hours watching crafting videos, even thought I’d love to. Thanks for the smiles!
Judy Inukai
January 10, 2026 at 8:27 amWhat a fun stencil. So many colors would work. Haven’t tried the PF brushes, so I have no opinion there. I stil use Copics and have too much invested in them to switch to another brand. I’m not a big fan of live videos. I usually watch them after the fact so I can fast forward through the designer chatting with people as they tune in.

January 10, 2026 at 9:06 amThe stencil is my favorite! It’s perfect for any kind of card. As always, your card is lovely!

January 10, 2026 at 9:34 amGreat card!! I’m liking the Love City stencil more and more. I can’t comment on the PF blender brushes or the Copic versus Olo markers because I don’t have any. Love your videos just as they are. Hank is just too cute. Thanks for sharing and inspiring.

January 10, 2026 at 11:40 amTHANKS so much for sharing yet another GREAT Laura Bassen card, I love the ombre coloring/shading from where & how you began and to where it ended being darker and brighter. Now only is this a fantastic Birthday card it would make an equally fabulous Valentine. SUPER job Laura and as always Thanks for adding the video of how the magic happened.

January 10, 2026 at 4:38 pmI recently started following you because we share the love of “white space”! All your projects are amazing! Here are my thoughts on your Qs: #1: Still love my copics plus I’ve spent too much money on my collection to change! #2: Pinkfresh blending brushes are great! They make everything look like butta! I just recently purchased the wall flower background brushes and excited to use them this year! #3: I love the length of your videos…I work 50+ hours at my day job and it allows me to catch up on all the creativeness of the week…otherwise I just fast forward through the full length ones.

January 19, 2026 at 5:19 pmGreat card! I use copics. I think I heard that you can use copics and olo together since they are both alcohol ink. I’d just use whatever colors you like in either brand. I love the Pinkfresh brushes! I use those for bigger backgrounds or when I want soft color. A live video every now and then might be fun, but I love your short videos. My mom and I watch them together and she probably wouldn’t want to watch a long one.
