February 19, 2026 at 8:03 amFun fact, Laura — my last name (my husband’s family name) is “sharpener” (Spitzer) in German. Here in PA Dutch country, you can find someone who will sharpen it for you b/c the same shop will sharpen all kinds of implements (farm tools, scissors, etc.). I imagine you could easily find a YT video for how to sharpen your guillotine blades. I would not buy a whole new one….
