Pinkfresh Studio October Release Blog Hop

Hi there! Today I’m joining Pinkfresh Studio for their October Release Blog Hop!I’ve created a couple of projects using several of the awesome new release products. My first card features the Geo Star 1 & 2 dies. For the Geo Star 1 die, I blended Mermaid Lagoon & Cracked Pistachio before die cutting the panel. I die cut three of the Geo Star 2 die and adhered them together using spray adhesive. For the sentiment I used the Smile word die with Aqua Glitter cardstock. To finish it off I added a few drops of White Nuvo Crystal drops.My next card features the beautiful Folklore die. For the background I blended Spun Sugar, Worn Lipstick and Wilted Violet onto Bristol paper. Then I flicked some Bubblegum & Lavender liquid watercolors. I adhered the die cut Folklore panel using spray adhesive and added a sentiment die cut from Hot Pink glitter cardstock with the Hugs die. The Hugs die is a promotional die and is free with any purchase including something from the new release. Check out the Pinkfresh Studio blog for more information on the free Hugs promotional die. WCMD and Simon Says Stamp!

Hi there & Happy World Cardmaking Day! Today I’m honored to join Simon Says Stamp in a blog hop celebrating this fun day!Each of the designers have created a project using the Ornate Ornaments set. To begin I embossed the ornaments in clear and blended Distress Oxide Inks over the embossing. Then I die cut the ornaments using the coordinating Ornate Ornaments dies. For the background I blended more distress Oxides onto Bristol using Peacock Feathers, Cracked Pistachio, Spiced Marmalade & Candied Apple. I also flicked a little bit of liquid watercolors using Aquamarine & Clementine. I used gold thread to make the ornaments look as if they were hanging and adhered a few Crystal Reflections sequins & some drops of glossy accents to finish it off. Waffle Flower-October Release Blog Hop

Hi there! Today I’m excited to join Waffle Flower for their October Release Blog Hop.I’ve created a couple of projects using a few of the new sets from the new release. My first card features the adorable Yippee stamp set & coordinating dies.
For the background I blended Distress Oxides in Mermaid Lagoon & Cracked Pistachio. I also flicked a little bit of Aquamarine Liquid Watercolor. I colored the images with Copics and embossed the sentiment. To finish it off I added a few Colorful Confetti sequins.
This next card used the Pull-tab Tree die & the Add-on die. Isn’t this the coolest thing ever? When you pull the tab the tree pops out and becomes full & round.
For the background I used some Lawn Fawn pattern paper. I die cut the tree parts and blended each of them with Distress Oxides in Twisted Citron & Mowed Lawn. After assembling the tree, which by the way, you can find a tutorial on assembly over at Waffle Flower, I added so Nuvo Jewel Drops for colorful ornaments.In this next photo I was attempting to show how the tree folds flat to go inside an envelope. Pay no attention to my alien-like finger, ha!
I stamped a sentiment on the inside of the card using the Christmas Tree stamp set.

Altenew Watercolor Brush Markers Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hi there! Today I’m excited to join Altenew for their October blog hop featuring the brand new, amazing Watercolor Brush Markers. If you are following the hop then you should have arrived here from Rubeena Ianigro’s blog.I’ve created a couple of projects using these new Watercolor Brush Markers and they are incredibly user friendly with vibrant, happy colors.
For this first card I simply painted loose stripes onto watercolor paper and then using the Caps Bold Alpha dies I created the “Love Wins” sentiment.
This next card uses one of my all time faves: Sohcahtoa.
I stamped the triangles using Versafine Onyx Black onto Arches paper and then simply colored them in with the Watercolor Brush Markers.

Mama Elephant-Mini Milk Box 3D

Hi there! Today I’m sharing a few adorable little favor boxes featuring the Mini Milk Box 3D-Creatve Cuts by Mama Elephant.I had so much fun creating these using some Pinkfresh Studio pattern papers. I used some brads on the roof closer and enamel dots for the door knobs.
As soon as emma saw these she was ecstatic and wanted to make one for her Polly Pockets:) For this one we just used a mini clothespin for the closer so it would be easer to open and close.
For this box I used Lawn Fawn pattern papers. It’s the perfect size for a little chocolate!Here’s Emma with her box. Too bad she’s not that excited about it.

Mama Elephant-Flip Slider

Hi there! Today I’m sharing this fun project on the Mama Elephant blog featuring the Flip Slider Creative Cuts.For this card I used the Yappy Woofmas stamp set for the images as well as the coordinating Yappy Woofmas Creative Cuts.
For the sentiment I used the Oh Joy Halo Script Creative Cuts.
For the background I used the Galactic Cover. On the inside of the pull tab I stamped a “surprise” sentiment from Meowy Woofmas.

Make It Market Kit-Fairy Tale Christmas

Hi there! Today I’m excited to join Papertrey Ink to promote their latest Make It Market Kit, “Fairy Tale Christmas” which will be released tomorrow, October 1st.This first card features the Fairy Tale Christmas Stamp Set & Die Collection. I also used a piece of the Fairy Tale Christmas Patterned Paper Collection for the background.
I created a couple of matchbox book boxed using the Fairy Tale Christmas Die Collection.
I used the Fairy Tale Christmas Patterned Paper Collection that can be die cut with the coordinating dies.
I also added a few of the Miniature Mushrooms & Fairy Lights. These are so much fun!!!
This next matchbox book box features more pattern paper along with one of the Small Bubbles to make a fun shaker on the front.
Both of these boxes have magnetic closures. The tiny magnets along with the pretty sequins are all included in the Fairy Tale Christmas Trimmings kit.
These are so cute to put a gift card in.
I also created a fun ornament using two of the Large Bubbles & one of the dies from the Fairy Tale Die Collection. I added an embossed sentiment from the Fairy Tale Stamp Set.
The Fairy Tale Christmas Main Kit will be available for sale from October 1st at 10pm ET through December 1st 10pm ET or while supplies last at Papertrey Ink. It will not be available for sale after the December 1st deadline.

Sunny Studio Stamps 3rd Birthday Blog Hop

Hi there! Today I’m joining Sunny Studio Stamps for a birthday blog hop. They are celebrating 3 years! Happy Birthday Sunny Studios!I have a couple of projects to share featuring a few of their new products. My first card features the Alpaca Holiday set.
How about that rainbow scarf, eh? LOVE! For the background I blended oxides onto Bristol paper and colored the images with Copics.
This next card features the Sweater Vest dies. You know how I love a good shape card. Here’s a festive one for those holiday gents in your life:)
To begin I blended oxides in Twisted Citron & Lucky Clover onto white cardsock. Then I die cut the panel using the Sweater Vest dies. Then I ran it through using the Cable Knit Embossing Folder, which gave this awesome texture. I blended a little bit more over top of the embossing for more detail. I die cut the rest of the pieces including the v-neck, collar, bow tie and waistband. I completely forgot to snap a pick of the inside of the card where I stamped a holiday sentiment. Oh well, just imagine it. It’s really cute, ha!

Limited Edition STAMPtember® Card Kit

The Limited Edition STAMPtember® Card Kit and it is SO MUCH FUN! I’ve created a few card using some of the contents starting with this super cute Preztel die. I die cut the pretzel and blended it with Scattered Straw & Vintage Photo. Then I took a white gel pen to add the dots for salt. I blended Blueprint Sketch & Mermaid Lagoon on the background and embossed a sentiment from the I Chews You stamp set that is also included in the kit.This next little card uses the No Prob Llama Doodle Pop 3D Stickers by Doodlebug Design. There are three of these sweet sticker sets included in the kit.I blended Worn Lipstick, Spiced Marmalade & Squeezed Lemonade onto the background and simply popped the sticker onto the card. How sweet is this Llama with the glossy nose? This is a small little lunch note or gift card size.
One last card using the gumball machine image from the I Chews You stamp set.I colored the image with Copics, adding some highlights with a gel pen. I die cut a circle window opening to frame the image onto Island Blue cardstock and embossed a sentiment, also from I Chews You.

Altenew September 2018 Washi Tape Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hi there! Today I’m excited to join Altenew for their September Blog Hop featuring several amazing new washi tapes. If you are following the hop then you should have arrived here from the Altenew Card Blog. I have a couple of projects to share showcasing these fantastic new washi tapes. My first card features the Watercolor Nebula washi. Galaxy Backgrounds are so trendy right now and this is the easiest and quickest way to achieve a gorgeous galaxy night sky.For the sentiment I die cut the word “yay” with gold glitter cardstock using the Caps Bold Alpha dies. I embossed a coordinating sentiment using Sentiments & Quotes.This next card features the Painted Fantasy & Golden Edge washi tapes. I adhered the Painted Fantasy & Golden Edges tapes on an angle and then cropped off the panel. I adhered the panel onto a Scarlet Jewel card base. I embossed a sentiment from Cherished Memories in gold. Here’s a video to show you how I created these cards.
