June 30, 2018Hi there! Today I have a fun project to share featuring the Perforated Flaps dies by Simon Says Stamp. It’s actually a card within a card within a card, so it’s VERY special:)
To begin I used the largest Perforated Flap die on the front panel. I added some patter paper to the flap along with the adorable Picture Book Love Bear.
I embossed a sentiment from the Yes You Can stamp set along with stamping another coordinating sentiment below it. This card is going to my son who leaves soon for Germany to play hockey again this season.
Behind the Perforated Flap is a hidden, smaller photo card. I simply printed off a photo of my son and I and added an embossed sentiment from Vacation Time that I die cut using the smallest Nested Talk Bubbles dies. Inside the photo card is a McDonalds gift card for him to buy some fries and think of his momma when he is away:)

Mama Elephant-Book Worm
June 29, 2018Hi there! Today I’m sharing this fun project over on the Mama Elephant blog featuring the adorable Book Worm set.
To create the fun box card I used the new 3D Pop Up Card Creative Cuts. I used Island Blue cardstock for the box & added panels of pattern paper to the sides.
I stamped the adorable images from Book Worm in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored them with Copics adding a few highlights with a white gel pen. Then I used the coordinating Book Worm Creative Cuts to die cut the images out and adhered them to acetate strips to pop up inside the box card.
I added a sentiment from the Good Reads set to the front of the box card.
Aren’t these Book Worm set so cute? Perfect for all those book lovers, teachers, students or anyone who just loves cute critters with oversized glasses on:) Thanks so much for stopping by!
I Need a Vacation Right MEOW!
June 28, 2018Hello there! Today I have a project to share that makes me smile! A kitty in a mermaid get-up with a major attitude about taking a vacay:)
For the background I embossed the circle ocean scene from Surf’s Up. I masked off each section of the ocean scene and blended in distress inks for the color.
I used a combinations of adorable images from Summer Cuddly Critters & Surf’s Up along with the most perfect sentiment ever! I finished it off with a few sequins in coordinating colors.

Mama Elephant-Dandelion Wishes
June 27, 2018Hi there! I’m back with Mama Elephant highlighting the Dandelion Wishes set.
I used the Tri Window Cover Die to create the panel and blended distress inks in Blueprint Sketch, Mermaid Lagoon & Cracked Pistachio onto the background.
I colored the sweet images from Dandelion Wishes with Copics, added some accents with a white gel pen & used the coordinating dies to cut them out and pop them up onto the panel. This was a great way to use almost every single image in the stamp set.

Mama Elephant-Creativity is Contagious
June 25, 2018Hi there! I’m back with Mama Elephant highlighting the Creativity is Contagious set.
I embossed the large scripty sentiment in clear onto Arches watercolor paper. Then I painted over the embossed sentiment using Pinkfresh Studio liquid watercolors (yes, I’m definitely addicted:) I stamped the large sentiment again using Salty Ocean to add the shadow.
I die cut the entire panel with the largest of the Basic Rectangle dies to add the faux stitching edge and added a coordinating embossed sentiment along with a few sequins.

Today is the Greatest
June 24, 2018Hi there! Today I’m sharing a couple of projects featuring the fun new Good Vibes stamp set from the awesome new Good Vibes release by Simon Says Stamp.
For the backgrounds I used Pinkfresh Studio Liquid Watercolors on Arches Cold Pressed Watercolor Paper. If you’re wondering how I painted these backgrounds, check out this video.
I embossed this fun image from Good Vibes over the gradient painted backgrounds.
I embossed the fun “peace-sign fingers” on a Metallic Schoolhouse Red envelope to coordinating with the card.
I think this card would work great for a birthday, graduation or many other types of celebratory occasions. Everyone needs some good vibes now and then, don’t ya think? Thanks so much for stopping by!
Mama Elephant-Garden Frame
June 22, 2018Hi there! I’m back with Mama Elephant highlighting the Garden Frame set.
To begin I embossed the Garden Frame in clear and blended distress inks for the color.
I created a sort of unique shaker using one of the Basic Rectangles for the frame. I embossed the sentiment from Garden Frame and filled the shaker with Heart Confetti and Flamingo sequins.

Hi there! Today I’m excited to join Simon Says Stamp for Day 2 of their Good Vibes release blog hop.
My project features the Center Cut Geometric Background stamp along with the Dude word dies.
I embossed the center circle image from the Center Cut Geometric stamp in clear and then blended Simon Says Stamp inks for the color.
