Hi there! Today I’m sharing another project using some of the fun new products from the Friendly Frolic release by Simon Says Stamp.
To begin I blended distress inks onto bristol paper. Then I took a few of the Pinkfresh Studio Liquid Watercolors and flicked Key Lime over the Twisted Citron, Aquamarine over the Mermaid Lagoon and Sapphire over the Blueprint Sketch. I love how this turned out. I die cut these ink blended panels using the Leafy Frame die, creating two leafy frames to layer.
For the sentiment I used the Uplifting Sentiments. Then I flicked Licorice watercolor over the white card base. I adhered the green leafy frame panel flat onto the card base and popped up the blue leafy framed panel with foam tape for dimension. To finish it off I added a few sequins in like colors using the Chameleon & Pool Party sequin mixes.
That’s all for today! Thanks so much for stopping by!

Pom Pom Heaven!
July 23, 2018Hi there! Today I’m sharing a couple of fun projects using the awesome Birthday Bash Kit by Queen & Co. I fell head over heels in love with this kit as soon as I saw the pom poms!!! So many pom poms in three different sizes and in rainbow colors, too!
So I’ve created two clean and simple birthday cards using the kit.
For this first card I die cut an oval frame using one of the Stitched Oval dies and then stamped a sentiment from the stamp set included in the Birthday Bash Kit. Then using glossy accents, I adhered mini pom poms around the oval frame. So simple, yet perfect as can possibly be!
This next card was inspired by one I saw on the inspiration sheet that was included in the kit.
I die cut the ice cream cone using one of the dies that is included in the kit and then adhered the pom poms to create a three scoop ice cream cone WITH a cherry on top! Seriously, I can’t even with these pom poms!
Here’s a video to show you how I created these cards.
Hope you enjoyed! Thanks so much for stopping by!

Purple Onion Designs-Anniversary Sale
July 18, 2018
Hi there! Today I’m sharing a couple of project for the Purple Onion Designs Anniversary sale.
My first card features several adorable critters: Bella, April, Dotty & Pecan. These adorable images always steal my heart.
I colored all the images with Copics, fussy cut them and popped them up onto the ink blended backgrounds. I used Tumbled Glass, Old Paper & Crushed Olive Oxide inks on the background and also die cut a few hills using the Landscape Trio dies. Then I die cut the entire panel using the scalloped rectangle from All Prettied Up.
This next card features these sweet little fairies: Goldie & Flint. Both cards feature sentiments from the Essential Thoughts Sentiments Set.
I blended more oxide inks on the background using Tumbled Glass, Blueprint Sketch & Wilted Violet followed by flicks of water. Then I die cut a circle frame using one of the Nested Circle Dies. I added a few Crystal Reflection sequins to finish it off.
There’s many more adorable images to see over at the Purple Onion Designs shop and they are 25% off for just a few more days! Thanks so much for stopping by!

Mandy’s Flowers-August Card Kit
July 13, 2018
Hi there! The August Card Kit by Simon Says Stamp just released and it is gorgeous! I have a project to share featuring the beautiful Mandy’s Flowers stamp set included in the kit.
For the background I used a piece of Bo Bunny Early Bird pattern paper, included in the kit.
I stamped the circle floral frame image from Mandy’s Flowers and colored it with Copics. I used circle dies to create a window opening into the pattern paper as well as die cutting the circle part of the floral frame image. I stamped the flowers again and fussy cut them to piece onto the frame. The sentiment is also from Mandy’s Flowers.
To finish it off I added a few drops using the Bubble Gum Blush Nuvo Crystal Drops included in the kit. Check out the Simon Says Stamp blog for more info on this beautiful new kit. Thanks so much for stopping by!
