Hi there! Today I’m sharing this colorful project over on the Simon Says Stamp blog featuring the Hexagon Tiles dies. I created a rainbow hexagon wreath. Do you think it can work for a modern, Christmas vibe?
Hi there! Today I’m joining Altenew for their December Stand-alone Dies Release Blog Hop. If you are following the hop then you should have arrived here from the Altenew Card Blog.
For my first card I used the Just Leaves die set. I die cut the various sizes of leaves using solid colored cardstock and adhered them onto the right/bottom border of the panel.
Here’s a video to show you how I created these cards.

Hi there! Just popping in with this a card using the adorable Driving Home for Christmas set by Jane’s Doodles. I fell in love with this set the first time I saw it. I don’t know if it’s the look of joyful determination in that dog’s eyes or if it’s the cute little car with a tree strapped to the top.
I stamped the images with Intense Black ink by Simon Says Stamp, which by the way, has become my new favorite ink for Copic coloring. I’ve always used Memento Tuxedo Black ink, but recently I bought a new pad and it’s juts not doing it for me. The Intense Black gives a better, thinner and truer impression. I colored the images with Copics, fussy cut them and popped them up onto Sea Glass cardstock. I used one of the Layered Hills dies to give the Slate cardstock a “road” look and embossed the sentiment in white.
I wish I were driving home to Illinois for Christmas. I’m sure everyone is feeling it this year no matter what your situation is. The only thing I can control is to be thankful for what I DO have and try to be more like this dog. Maybe I’ll put on a rainbow scarf:) Sending you holiday hugs!
