Warm Hugs

Hi there! Today I’m sharing this project over on the Simon Says Stamp blog featuring the Warm Hugs word die.

SSS-Warm Hugs, Modern Poinsettia

For the background I embossed the Modern Poinsettia cling in clear onto white cardstock and blended Cracked Pistachio, Mermaid Lagoon & Blueprint Sketch for the color. I added some strips of solid colored cardstock behind the Warm Hugs word die along with a few clear sequins for embellishment.

Deco Hat Gnome

Hi there! Today I’ve got a super cute little gnome project to share with you featuring the Deco Hat Gnome die set by Simon Says Stamp.

SSS-Deco Hat Gnome, Gnome School

This is a thinner sized card to fit the slim gnome image. I made the base 3″ x 5.5″. I added some gray pattern paper by Sunny Studios for the background. For the Deco Hat Gnome die I used several shades of solid colored cardstock.

SSS-Deco Hat Gnome, Gnome School

For the sentiment I used one of the Gnome School Sentiment Strips with a Sentiment Label die. I love this colorful gnome hat and that punny sentiment is giving me life:) Thanks so much for stopping by!

Jane’s Doodles-Whales

Whale how ya’ll doing? So I googled some what puns. It could get whaley dangerous:) Ok, I’ll stop, but I do have this cute little project to share featuring the Whales stamps set by Jane’s Doodles.

Jane's Doodles-Whales

I first stamped the whales with versafine onyx black ink onto watercolor cardstock. Then I masked the whales off using this masking paper. I blended distress inks on the background I then used the Waves stencil to add subtle waves. I peeled off the masks and painted the whales using distress inks.

Big Thanks Autumn

Hi there! Today I have a project using the new November Card Kit by Simon Says Stamp called Big Thanks Autumn.

SSS-Big Thanks Autumn

To begin I stamped the thanks sentiment from Big Thanks Autumn using Concord & 9th inks, giving each letter a different color. Post-it notes help to mask off each letter to individually ink each one. I trimmed the sentiment onto angled strip and popped it up over strips of Concord & 9th cardstock. I stamped the floral bouquet from Big Thanks Autumn onto the strips of cardstock using Versemark ink.

SSS-Big Thanks Autumn

The card base is one of my new favorites, Speckled Eggshell cardstock. I added a sentiment strip and a few sparkling clear sequins to finish it off.

Check out the Simon Says Stamp blog for more inspiration using this fun, new November Card Kit. Thanks so much for stopping by!

October Card Kit Mini Blog Hop

Hi there! Today I’m joining Simon Says Stamp for a mini hop featuring the October Card Kit.

SSS-Happy Fall Y'all

My card used the adorable Happy Fall Y’all stamp set.

SSS-Happy Fall Y'all

I stamped the images with Memento ink and colored them with Copics. I embossed the banner sentiment in white on black and popped it up over the cute bear. How adorable is the bear in a rainbow sweater with glasses holding a pie? Haven’t decided if it’s apple, cherry or pumpkin pie. Personally I’d take brownies:)
