New Make Merry Release

Hi there! Today I have a couple of fun projects to share featuring the festive, new Make Merry release by Simon Says Stamp.

SSS-Merry On a Line, Geometric Christmas Tree, CZ Good Cheer

My first card features the Merry On a Line die. I love this clean, graphic look. I die cut several strips of solid colored cardstock and adhered them onto a slight angle.

SSS-Merry On a Line, CZ Good Cheer

I embossed a sentiment from the CZ Good Cheer stamp set in white onto black cardstock and used one of the Sentiment Label dies to cut out the sentiment and pop it up below the “merry”.

My second card features the Geometric Christmas Tree die.

SSS-Geometric Christmas Tree

I adhered three Geometric Christmas Tree die cuts together for added dimension and then adhered strips of solid colored cardstock behind the stacked up tree. I added an embossed sentiment from CZ Good Cheer.

Tim Holtz STAMPtember® 2020 Exclusive Collaboration

Hi there! Today I’m back with another fun STAMPtember® Collaboration with Tim Holtz called Snarky Christmas Cats.

Tim Holtz STAMPtember® 2020 Exclusive Collaboration

I had to do some ink blending for a Tim Holtz card so I made a few small panels using various color combinations and trimmed them down to fit onto a slimline card. If you want some spectacular ink blending color combo inspiration, look at Kristina Werners examples. They are true eye candy!

Tim Holtz STAMPtember® 2020 Exclusive Collaboration

For the images, I stamped them with Memento ink and colored with Copics.

Tim Holtz STAMPtember® 2020 Exclusive Collaboration

I fussy cut the images out and popped them up onto the ink blended panels and added a few clear drops for embellishment. I also embossed three sentiments from the Snarky Christmas Cats set in white onto black cardstock and die cut them using the Sentiment Label dies.
