Hi there! Today I’m excited to join Pinkfresh Studio for their August Release Blog Hop!
I’ve created a couple of colorful project using several of the new August Release products. This first card features the Blushing Floral on the background.
For the sentiment I used a combination of Lea’s Uppercase & Heather’s Lowercase Alpha dies.
For this next card I used the Color Block: Gradiating Stripes on the background.
For the floral focal I used the Sending Love and Hugs stamp set, and for the sentiment I used the Every Good Thing stamp set.
Here’s a video to show you how I created these cards.
GIVEAWAY! Pinkfresh Studio will be giving away the full release on the Pinkfresh blog, our IG feed & YouTube channel. Leave me a comment for your chance to win a $25 gift card. Winners will be picked from the comments & posted on August 26, 2020 on the Pinkfresh Studio GIVEAWAY PAGE. Please check that page to claim your prize within 2 weeks.
For this first card I simply stamped the sun ray image with Aqua Sky ink onto a panel of white cardstock and then stamped it again going the opposite direction with Oceanside ink.
For this next card I used the solid stripe to create a diagonal striped background. I used the ruler guides on the MISTI to shift the panel 3/4″ each time to get consistent spacing.
For this last card I used the solid circle image in the Hello Sunshine stamp set and stamped it repeatedly, again using the MISTI rulers to get consistent spacing each time.
Hi there! Today I’m excited to be joining Simon Says Stamp for Day 2 of their Let’s Connect Release Blog Hop. My project features the Spring Flowers. I embossed the background in clear onto white cardstock. Then I blended distress inks for color followed by splatters of water, Picked Raspberry, Mermaid Lagoon & white ink. For the sentiment I used the Summer Flowers set, which is a beautiful collaboration with Gina K. Designs.
Here’s a video to show you how I created this card.
Simon Says Stamp is giving away a $25 coupon to every stop on the hop. Winners will be chosen over
the weekend and posted on the Simon Says Stamp blog on Wednesday, the 12th of August.
Giveaway will be $50 gift card for each company chosen from comments left across the hop – more comments left the better their chance of winning. Winner will be announced on Friday, August 14th, and winner will be posted on the MISTI blog, and as usual on the Pinkfresh winners page.
This first card features the Rainbow Card die set. This die set is designed to create a rainbow shaped card, but I used it here on a slimline sized card. For the sentiment I used the CZ Let’s Connect Word die.
There’s a fun reveal video of the Let’s Connect release over on the Simon Says Stamp blog. You can also shop the new release HERE! Thanks so much for stopping by!
I had a ball stitching away using some of these new dies. I’ve created three projects to share.
My first card uses the Stitchable Pinking Rectangle Die. I created my own sort of pattern creating colorful little repeating squares. I love how this die has such a clean, decorative edge.
For the embroidery floss I used what was in my stash. I’ve recently picked up some gorgeous neon colors at my local dollar store. For the sentiment I used the CZ Love You die with gold glittered cardstock & vellum.
I stitched horizontal rows of colored floss creating a rainbow pattern. For the sentiment I used the Fresh Rainbow Sentiments stamp set and trimmed out the word “hugs” to take up less space on the stitched heart.
