STAMPtember® 2020 Party

Hi there! Today I’m excited to join Simon Says Stamp for a big ol’ STAMPtember® 2020 Party featuring more of the new STAMPtember® 2020 release.

SSS-Lantern Pattern & Hexagon Tile Background, CZ Batty, CZ Halloween People, You Matter, Tiny Words Encouragement

I have a couple of projects to share using some of my new, favorite background clings. They’re my favorite because my daughter, Bailey, designed them. This first card uses the Lantern Pattern background cling. I embossed it in clear and blended distress inks for color. I couldn’t wait to try the new and gorgeously vibrant Crackling Campfire color! It looks so festive with Mustard Seed and a little Wilted Violet on the bottom.

I used the CZ Batty die & CZ Halloween People for the sentiment. As soon as I saw “Spooky & Kooky” I was like, SOLD! It rhymes. What more can you want for Halloween:)

This next card uses the Hexagon Tile Background. I blended my favorite cool tone trio of distress inks for this one: Cracked Pistachio, Mermaid Lagoon, Blueprint Sketch.

For the sentiment I used the You Matter die and embossed a coorinating sentiment from the Tiny Words Support set. I also added a few of the gorgeous new Holographic Rainbow sequins.

Hi there! It’s September 1st which means that STAMPtember® 2020 is here! It’s a month long celebration with Simon Says Stamp starting with a fantastic new release and month long collaborations with many amazing stamp companies in our industry.

SSS-Geometric Builder Circles & Squares, Thinking of You Sentiment Strips, Etched Laurel Leaves, I am With You

I have a couple of fun, simple and colorful projects to share using some of the new STAMPtember® products. This first card uses two new and very dear to my heart die sets called Geometric Builder Circles & Geometric Builder Squares. These are what your geometric lovin’ heart has been waiting for:)

I die cut one of the circle dies that has a pie like design out of solid colored cardstock and pieced them back together over an ivory square on a white card base with a simple sentiment from the Thinking of You Sentiment Strips.

For this next card I used the Etched Laurel Leaves die set. Again lots of solid colored cardstock arranged into a rainbow wreath design.

For the sentiment I used the new I am With You stamp set with my favorite new embellishments of all time…the Holographic Rainbow sequins…fuhgeddaboudi!

Zoom Shape Card

Hi there! Can you believe it’s the last day of August? Summer flew by! Today I have a cute little shape card using the CZ Let’s Connect stamp set & coordinating dies.

I stamped the adorable computer screen image with memento ink and colored with Copics. I used the coordinating dies to cut out the computer screen and also to create the shape card base.

For the sentiment I embossed the “hello” in white onto black cardstock and used the coordinating dies to cut it out.

My oldest daughter, Alex, went back to college only to be sent home again already. This will be a strange school year for everyone for sure. This sweet little card is timely and perfect to bring a smile to students & teachers right now. Thanks so much for stopping by!

Thankful for Friends

Hi there! Today I’m sharing this colorful project over on the Pinkfresh Studio YouTube channel featuring the Thankful for Friends set.

For the background I embossed the Diamond Tiles onto Fog in white. I embossed the floral image from Thankful for Friends in clear and blended Pinkfresh Studio inks for color.

For the sentiment I used the Lea’s Ornate Uppercase & Lowercase along with Heather’s Lowercase Alpha dies with solid colored cardstock. I added a coordinating embossed sentiment from Thankful for Friends and to finish it off some gorgeous Pinkfresh Jewels.

Hello Sunshine

Hi there! Today I’m sharing this very clean & simple project over on the Simon Says Stamp blog. I used the Sunny Days die for the sun and the Border Waves dies to create the gradient waves out of solid colored cardstock. For the sentiment I used the Hello Sunshine stamp set.

MFT-Colorful Halloween

MFT-Hey Ghoul, Haunted House, Sassy Pants Spooktacular

For the ghost card I used the Hey, Ghoul Die-namics set with the Sassy Pants Spooktacular stamp set and strips of solid colored cardstock on the background. Hi there! Today I’m sharing a couple more Doodlebug projects featuring the adorable Alex Alphabet Doodle Cuts.

For both cards I used a soft gray gingham pattern paper for the background. I used the Alex Alpha dies with solid colored cardstock to spell out “hello baby!”

For this next card I used more gingham pattern paper and Alex Alpha dies to spell out “baby”.

I added the sweet baby image from Special Delivery. For the sentiment I used the “welcome” from Toy Box and embossed the “boy” from Special Delivery.

My first card features the Leaf Mix Die Set. I used several of the dies with the Gradient Layering Cardstock sets, which are fantastic for giving several color options for smaller dies.

Doodlebug Designs-Sweet Little One

Hi there! Today I have a cute little Doodlebug Designs project to share with you. I was so fortunate to receive some goodies from Doodlebug Designs and will be sharing a few projects in the next weeks.

For this card I started with some soft gray pattern paper from the Gingham-Linen Rainbow Petite Prints pattern pack. I layered three small tags from the Mini Tag die set and popped up a few adorable critters from the Nursery Friends & Toy Box stamp set. I colored the critters with Copics and added googly eyes to the frog. For the sentiment I used the Bundle of Joy stamp set.
