Sunflower Garden

Hi there! Today I’m sharing a project using the September Card Kit by Simon Says Stamp.

To begin I embossed the large sunflower image from Sunflower Garden, which is included in the card kit. I embossed it in clear and blended several distress inks & Orange Crush ink for the color.

I fussy cut the image out and popped it up onto a white panel then flicked everything with Black Soot. For the sentiment I used the Happy Birthday die with silver metallic cardstock. I also embossed a coordinating sentiment from Slimline Florals.

Pigment-August Release Hop

My project features the new Frame Builder: Hello Autumn stamp & stencil and coordinating die set. This also has a coordinating die set along with a coordinating stencil set. For the sentiment I used the Split Sentiments: Autumn stamp set.

Mod Layering Leaves

Hi there! Today I’m sharing this project over on the Simon Says Stamp blog featuring the Mod Layering Leaves Stencil Set.

I blended the dreamy color scheme using Simon Says Stamp inks and then applying a bit of Glitz Glitter Gel. For the sentiment I used the CZ Hugs die with vellum and silver cardstock. You can check out the video HERE!

Halloween Wishes

Hi there! Today I’m sharing this Halloween themed project over on the My Favorite Things YouTube channel. For the background I used the Cool Curves Cover-Up Die-namics with several shades of purple cardstock. I used the Jack-o’-lanterns Die-namics for the festive pumpkins and the Itty Bitty Boos for the sentiment.

Pencil Layering Stencil Set

Hi there! Today I’m sharing a project using the Pencil Layering Stencil Set, which is part of Erin Lee Creative’s newest release.

There are two stencils in the Pencil Layering Stencil Set that allow you to create a colorful row of perfectly sharpened pencils. I used distress inks to blend the color.

The colorful pencils were a perfect background for a teacher card so I used the CZ Teacher Thank Yous stamp set and added a few raindrops for embellishment.

My project features the Storefront Builder die set. I created a rainbow canopy using solid colored cardstock for a colorful cafe background.

For the cute critters I used the Coffee Shop Hamsters. How sweet are they enjoying their croissant & cappuccino? For the sentiment I used the Sassy Speech Bubble stamp & die set.

Game Day Dad

Hi there! Today I have a fun little GIF that my daughter helped me create featuring the Dad die set, Game Day die set and the Most Valuable Player stamp set.

This is a fun way to customize a card if you have a supportive parent for a specific sport. The only thing missing here is a hockey puck, lol, but it’s not a round shape so these fit perfectly into the opening in the ‘a’.

I used solid colored cardstock scraps to piece these die cuts together onto a cream panel and then onto a white base. It’s very simple, but colorful and I think that’s just how dad might like it.)

Spellbinders-Special Delivery & Open House

Hi there! Today I’m sharing a couple of projects using some of the new holiday products from Spellbinders. My first card featured the adorable Special Delivery Etched Dies from the Tis the Season Collection.

On the background I used the String Lights Hot Foil Plate onto Ivory cardstock and the created some aqua hills using the Color Block Scenic Scape Etched Dies. The sentiment is from the the Mini Christmas Sentiment Strips Glimmer Hot Foil & Die Set.

My second card features the Open House Door Base Etched Dies from the Open House Collection.

Geometric Builders Hearts

Hi there! Today I’m sharing a project featuring the Geometric Builders Hearts die set.

I used several scraps of solid colored cardstock. I designed this die set several months ago and I’m giddy with how fun and easy they are to put together. These little dies are perfect to use with a mini die cutting machine, too. I use the Altenew Mini Blossom and love it.

For the sentiment I used the Thinking of You Sentiment Strips. I used one the Sentiment Label Dies to cut out the sentiment strips and pop it up on to the Ivory panel.
