Waffle Flower Christmas Release

Welcome to Waffle Flower’s July 2021 Release Day! I’m happy to be hopping with the folks from Waffle Flower to show you all the fun new stuff awaiting you on the Waffle Flower website! This month, the Waffle Flower release is full of stamps, dies, and stencils for the love of Christmas!

Waffle Flower-Oversized Joy Combo, Layered Poinsettia Die, Big Dots Stencil

My first card features the Layered Poinsettia Die set. The sentiment uses the Oversized Joy Combo. For the background I used the Big Dots Stencil with Cracked Pistachio distress ink.

My next card uses the Dotty Christmas Tree Die. I die cut the tree using five shades of green cardstock and layered each tier putting solid colored cardstock behind each dot for a modern take on ornaments.

For the sentiment I used Oversized Joy stamp set.

Garden Greetings

Hi there! Today I’m sharing a project using some of the latest Garden Greetings Card Kit by Simon Says Stamp.

To begin I created a circle window frame using one of the Nested Circle dies into white carstock. Then on the panel behind I adhered strips of solid colored cardstock. I stamped the swag image from Garden Greetings that is included in the card kit with versamark ink for a fun tone on tone look.

For the sentiment I used the Big Scripty Hugs die that is also included in the card kit. I used vellum and gold metallic cardstock. I popped up the panel onto a Fog base and added some bubbles for embellishments.

Hi there! Yesterday I shared this project over on the Simon Says Stamp blog. I stripped up some solid colored cardstock and created a double window frame using vellum and the Nested Circle Dies. For the sentiment I used the Spring Bouquets stamp set and for the foliage I embossed images from the Birthday Seedlings set in white onto vellum.

Jane’s Doodles-New Release Hop

Hi there! Today I’m joining Jane’s Doodles for a New Release Hop!

My project features the adorable, new Surf’s Up stamp set. I stamped the images with Intense Black ink and colored them with Copics. I fussy cut the images out and embossed the sentiment in white onto black.

For the background I used the Layered Hills & Stitched Slopes and Hills dies. For the sunrays I used the Sunrise Radiating stencil and embellished with Raindrops.

Spread Yours Wings

Hi there! Today I’m sharing this project over on the My Favorite Things YouTube channel featuring the Slanted Stripes Cover-Up Die-namics, Spread Your Wings & Spring Wreath sets. I did some white heat embossing on acetate and layered it on solid colored cardstock for a fun effect!

Pinkfresh Studio June Washi, Stamp, Die, Stencil, and Hot Foil Release

Hi there! Today I’m joining Pinkfresh Studio for their June Release Blog Hop.

Pinkfresh Studio-Butterlies & Perfect Sentiments Hoit Foil Plates

My first project features the Butterflies Hot Foil Plate. I used gold foil to foil the Butterfly image. Then I used the Butterfly Layering Stencil set to blend in the color. For the sentiment I used the Perfect Sentiments Hot Foil Plate & coordinating dies. I also added a few, new Gold Metallic Pearls for embellishment.

For my next card I used the Sweet Blooms Hot Foil Plate. After foiling in gold I blended Sparkling Rose, Apricot & Sunshine ink over the foiling to add color.

For the sentiment I used the new Hugs & Good Vibes Hot Foil Plate along with the coordinating die. I also added a few more of those delicious Gold Metallic Pearls for embellishment.

Hi there! Today I’m joining several of my talented crafty friends in an Instagram hop to wish our friend, Andy Granick, well wishes. Andy will be going through some medical issues/procedures and we want to uplift him and show him how much his crafty community cares for him. He’s not only a fabulous crafter, but he’s also the sweetest guy ever.

SSS-Layered Hills Dies, Reverse Get Well

Andy shares my love for clean, graphic and colorful cards, so I wanted to make something with him in mind. For my project I used the Layered Hills die set that my daughter, Bailey, designed several releases ago and it is still one of my favorite die sets. I used several shades of solid colored cardstock.

For the sentiment I used one of the Reverse Get Well sentiment strips with the Sentiment Label dies.

Altenew Summer Adventure Stand-alone Dies Collection Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hi there! Today I’m joining Altenew for their Summer Adventure Blog Hop! If you are following the hop then you should have arrived here from Keren Baker ‘s blog.

My first project features the new Abstract Landscape Cover Die. Such a bold, clean design. I die cut each part with solid colored cardstock and layered four of the outline to create a bit of dimension. For the sentiment I used the Many Thanks stamp set.

My next card uses the new Tropical Leaf Mix die set. I created a striped panel out of solid colored cardstock to accentuate the white die cut leaves.

Pretty Pink Posh-Miss You Script, Vacation Scene

My project features the Vacation Scene die set. I used several shades of solid colored cardstock to piece together this cute, beachy scene. I made it into a shaker and filled it with Mini Iridescent Star Confetti.

For the sentiment I used the Miss You Script die set with gold foil cardstock.
