Party Like a Panda

Hi there! Today I’m sharing a project using the latest August 2019 Card Kit-Party Like a Panda.

SSS-August 2019 Card Kit-Party Like A Panda

I used the fun Flocking Sheets to make a fuzzy little Picture Book Panda and the Party Like a Panda stamp set for the sentiment.

The kit comes with some Doodlebug pattern papers as well that I used on the background. The panda is not only cute, it doubles as a bookmark. Emma couldn’t wait to test it out on her latest book. She asked me if I could possibly make her a unicorn bookmark, and I can using the Picture Book Unicorn die.

Birthday Hugs & Kisses

Hi there! Today I’m sharing this fun birthday card on the My Favorite Things YouTube channel featuring several of their new July release products. I used the really fun Impact Alphabet Die-namics to customize the name on the card, the Magical Rainbow Die-namics for the rainbow and Bitty Birthday Wishes for the sentiment.

As you can see, this card is for my Emma, who is turning nine tomorrow. How did that happen? She is giddy about her birthday. I talk all about her exciting birthday wishes in the video HERE. Thanks so much for stopping by!

Basking in the Overlap

Hi there! Today I’m sharing this super simple thank you card featuring some oldies but goodies. When I look back over my card making life my most favorite cards are always the simplest ones so that’s what I’m gonna try to do more of: clean, simple, color.

SSS-Big Perfect Shapes & CZ 30 Days of Thankful

I used one of my favorites, but I can’t find it in the Simon Says Stamp shop anymore. It’s called Big Perfect Shapes, but you could easily just use any large solid shape that you might have. Doesn’t have to be a heart either.

SSS-Big Perfect Shapes & CZ 30 Days of Thankful

I used Simon Says Stamp inks which gave a beautiful, vibrant color as well as a show stopping overlap. To me, the overlap is what life it all about. For the sentiment I embossed a simple thank you from CZ 30 Days of Thankful.

DESTASH UPDATE:
All destash boxes that I mentioned in my last post have been spoken for. I’ve been busy packing and mailing each one. I underestimated the interest by a LONG shot. I had well over 200 responses for 15 boxes. I felt bad to turn so many away, but hopefully in the future I can do this again. I wish I could give each and every one of you a box as a big thank you for your kind words and support.

Just a rainbow note…

Hi there! Today I’m sharing a fun little thank you using this Rainbows Elle-ments die set that I am head over heels in love with.

Avery Elle-Rainbows Elle-ments

As soon as I saw this die released by Avery Elle I knew I had to have it. I made a cute little thank you using sentiments from the Rainbow Wishes stamp set by Honey Bee Stamps.

Avery Elle-Rainbows Elle-ments

I used solid colored cardstock for each bow. For the sentiment I used Moonlight pigment ink and Versafine Onyx Black ink.

I’ve been on a major purging streak and was wondering if you guys would be interested in these boxes of new and used products from my stash. These are medium sized flat rate boxes. I’m only asking for the $15 to cover the shipping. If you are outside of the U.S. shipping costs will be calculated. All of the boxes are full to the brim with a variety of brands. There is one box solely full of Papertrey Ink stamps and dies. If you are interested, please email me at lbassen@yahoo.com with any questions and to claim a box. I will give these away on a first come, first serve basis.

Patterns with Strips

Hi there! Today I’m sharing this fun project over on the Simon Says Stamp blog showing how to create fun patterns using strips of paper. This is a great way to use up those scraps, and this would also work great with pattern papers.

SSS-Hello Darling

For the sentiment I used the Hello Darling stamp set. Check out how I created this card HERE! Thanks so much for stopping by!

Bee Yourself

Hi there! Today I’m sharing a couple of projects created using the latest July Card Kit by Simon Says Stamp called Bee Yourself.

SSS-BEE Yourself

I had so much fun playing with the gorgeous Shattered Glass Transfer Foil Sheets included in the kit. The results were show stopping!

SSS-BEE Yourself

For this card, to adhere the foil transfer sheet, I used skinny strips of score tape. For the bee image and sentiment I used the Bee Yourself stamp set that is also included in the kit.

SSS-BEE Yourself

This next card uses one of the custom foilable cards included in the kit. I only added foil to the rainbow image. I also popped up a couple of bees from Bee Yourself stamp set.

SSS-BEE Yourself

Both panels are popped up onto Fog card bases with a few clear sequins for embellishment.

Here’s a video to show you how I created these cards.
