Pinkfresh Studio-Folk Mandala

Hi there! Today I have a fun project on the Pinkfresh Studio YouTube channel featuring the Folk Mandala set by Pinkfresh Studio. This is such a fun set that can be used to create endless designs. I went for a softer, pastel look this time.

Pinkfresh Studio-Folk Mandala

I stamped the background mandala design using Frosty Pink, Coral Berry & Crimson ink. For the birds I embossed in clear and blended Cracked Pistachio & Mermaid Lagoon. I added an embossed sentiment from My Favorite Things to Say set. To finish it off I added some jewels in coordinating colors.

So Loved

Hi there! Hope you all had a wonderful time celebrating the new year. I actually rang in the new year on an airplane flying somewhere over the Atlantic Ocean. We had a quick stop in Dublin, Ireland and then onto Germany where we are visiting our oldest son who is living there this year playing hockey.

I am struggling with the time change, BUT so very happy to see my boyšŸ’—He is doing great, by the way, and we have been enjoying all the delicious food and wonderful culture.

SSS-So Loved & All My Heart Stencil

Today I’m sharing this project over on the Simon Says Stamp blog featuring the All My Heart Stencil & So Loved stamp set. I die cut the sentiment using one of the Nested Hearts dies and blended the background with distress inks, adding translucent embossing paste for the shine. This could be a great card for Valentine’s Day, but could easily work all year long. Head over to the Simon Says Stamp blog to see the video. Thanks so much for stopping by!

You’re the Bestest

SSS-Outline Floral Frame & So Loved

Hi there! Long time no post, eh? It’s been a festive blur! Hope you all had a wonderful holiday. I’m happy to finally get some crafty time and share a project I created featuring the Outline Floral Frame die. I die cut this gorgeous floral frame with white cardstock and colored it using my Copics.

SSS-Outline Floral Frame & So Loved

I backed the frame with acetate and created a full card shaker. For the background I blended some distress inks in Spun Sugar, Spiced Marmalade & Squeezed Lemonade. I also flicked some of the inks along with white acrylc ink. Then I stamped a beautiful sentiment from the So Loved stamp set.

SSS-Outline Floral Frame & So Loved

To fill the shaker I used some Heart Confetti & sequin mixes. Also want to mention that the foam strips are a dream to use for shakers like these. They are pre-cut, thin strips of foam tape and make it so effortless for shaker making.

SSS-Outline Floral Frame & So Loved

Before the new year comes and goes I just want to take a moment and thank you for your support & encouragement this year. I appreciate every kind word & comment you leave, and feel so fortunate that you take the time to stop by. Here’s to another year of inspiration, humor & crafty goodness! YOU’RE THE BESTESTšŸ’—

Ornate Love

SSS-Ornate Love

Hi there! Have you seen the latest You Are Loved release by Simon Says Stamp? So much fun stuff, great for Valentine’s Day and so much more! I have a project to share using the Ornate Love stamp & coordinating die set.

SSS-Ornate Love

To begin I die cut the two hearts form the Ornate Love die set onto two separate panels of white cardstock and layered them onto a white card base for a fun, tone on tone background.

SSS-Ornate Love

Then I embossed the block letters from Ornate Love in white. Each letter was embossed onto a different color. I used Doll PinkLipstick RedOrange Peel and Sunshine. I also embossed the “you” from Ornate Love and used the coordinating dies to die cut everything out and pop up with foam tape.
