Hi there! Today I’m sharing this fun project over on the Simon Says Stamp blog featuring lots of fun Picture Book Lion, Zebra & Giraffe dies as well as the Friend Outline die. I apologize that I used an older rainbow die by Simon Says Stamp that I can’t seem to find in the shop anymore on this card, BUT there are many other rainbow dies that could work just as well for this. I linked the other options in my supply list at the end of this post.
Check out the full project & video over on the Simon Says Stamp blog. Thanks so much for stopping by!
Hi there! I’m back with Mama Elephant highlighting the Wild Meadow set.
To begin I embossed the leaf border in clear on to white cardstock and blended distress inks for the color. I used a detail embossing tool to add more intense color to smaller areas. I added stitching to the bottom of the leaf border for detail.
I’ve created a couple of projects using the kit. First up are these cutie patootie little valentines. The sweet hedgehogs are from The Sweetest stamp set included in the kit. I popped them up onto some Pebbles pattern paper and added a sentiment from the Love Notes stamp set. Also included in the kit are the cute little mini envelopes in Schoolhouse Red & White.
My project features the Friendship Sentiments stamp set. There are so many great sentiments in this set, it was too hard to narrow it down, so I used four:)
To celebrate the new release, Mama Elephant is picking 3 winners to win their choice of stamp set! Winners will be chosen at random from the collective blogs in the Stampede. You have up to 4 chances to qualify to win! » 1. Leave a comment on this blog post «
Hi there! Today I’m excited to join Pinkfresh Studio for their January Release Blog Hop! I have a couple of projects to share featuring some of the fun new January release goodies!
I first die cut the panel using the Lost in the City die and then embossed the buildings in clear and blended distress inks for the color. For the sentiment I used the Adore Alpha die set to die cut the “YOU” and embossed a coordinating sentiment from Lost in the City in white onto black.
Here’s a video to show you how I created these cards.

Hi there! Today I’m excited to join Pretty Pink Posh for their 5th Birthday Celebration! I have a couple of projects featuring their new January release goodies!
For the background I blended distress oxide inks in Spiced Marmalade, Picked Raspberry & Wilted Violet. I flicked the same distress inks as well by smoothing a bit of the ink onto an acrylic block and picking it up with a wet brush to flick it. I also added a few flicks of white acrylic ink. I popped the With Love Shaker die cut over the blended background and adhered a few jewels from the Valentines Jewels Mix. To finish it off I clipped a silk ribbon tied in a bow.
I stamped the confetti images onto the background and then created a circle window to hide the hanging twine that holds the adorable piñata. I colored all the images with Copics. This set is so fun!
GIVEAWAY! Pretty Pink Posh is giving away 9 $25 gift certificates to those NINE people who comment during the blog hop. Plus, we are giving away a not-yet-released set for qualifying purchases, while supplies last!
