Hi there! Today I’m joining Simon Says Stamp for a blog hop featuring the AWESOME Limited Edition Holiday Card Kit Comfort & Joy!
I’ve created two projects using the contents of the kit.
For this card I embossed the gorgeous Poinsettia Background cling in white onto Schoolhouse Red cardstock. Then I embossed the large snowflake image from Comfort & Joy in Antique Gold along with the sentiment embossed in white. I used one of the Sentiment Label dies to die cut the embossed sentiment.
For this next card I used a couple pieces of ephemera from the Tim Holtz Idealogy Christmas Ephemera pack included in the kit.
I’m in love with that vintage hymn ephemera! I mounted it onto some plaid pattern paper by Echo Park, also included in the kit. For the Christmas Wreath ephemera, I punched a hole in the top and tied a bow using the green organdy by May Arts, included in the kit.
Follow along the blog hop to see more amazing inspiration using this fun new kit!
Thanks so much for hopping by!

Pretty Pink Posh November Blog Hop
November 16, 2018
Hi there! Today I’m excited to join Pretty Pink Posh for Day 2 of their November release.
My first project features the Layered Tree Die. This card is so simple, which are usually my favorites) and yet it makes me giddy with the rainbow pom poms.
I die cut the layered of the tree using three shades of green cardstock: Limeade Ice, Simply Chartreuse & Ripe Avocado. To make the bottom layer darker, I die cut Ripe Avocado cardstock and blended Forest Moss Oxide ink onto it. I threaded some mini pom poms(bought at hobby lobby) onto white thread to decorate the tree. A few pom poms are secured with glossy accents. For the sentiment I used the Caroling Critters stamp set.
This next card uses the Tree Shaker Die.
I trimmed strips of solid colored cardstock and adhered them onto an angle. I die cut three trees using the Tree Shaker die and adhered them together with spray adhesive to add dimension. I also embossed a coordinating sentiment using the Caroling Critters set.

This next card uses the Get Well Circle Frame die. I blended distress oxides onto white cardstock before die cutting. I added a sweet image from Warm & Feathered Hugs along with an embossed sentiment from Beary Best Friends.

Rainbow Grid Masking
November 8, 2018Hi there! Today I’m sharing this project over on the Simon Says Stamp blog. I had fun trying a little bit of rainbow grid masking using the Grid Stencil along with a sentiment from Besties.

Lawn Fawn-Double Slider Surprise
November 6, 2018Hi there! Today I have a fun interactive card to share using the Double Slider Surprise dies by Lawn Fawn. This was so fun to put together and even more fun to show my kids. I always get the “oohs & ahhs” when I show the interactive cards:)
For the images I used the Winter Skies set. I used the Landscape Stitched Hillside Backdrop die to create the snowy hills. I blended distress oxide inks in Mermaid Lagoon & Blueprint Sketch for the winter sky, followed by flicks of water, white acrylic ink & Licorice liquid watercolor.
I also used some of the Really Rainbow Christmas pattern paper on the card base & the Push Here set to label the pull tabs. I tried to make a video, but I was confusing myself at first trying to put the double slider together. Kelly does an amazing video explaining how to put one of these interactive cards together HERE.
I did manage to get my son, Charlie, to pull the tabs for me while I taped him with my phone just to show you the magic.
There is some incredible inspiration using the Double Slider dies HERE.
I do have a winner to announce from my My Favorite Things giveaway.
Congratulations Jackie Price!

Critter Sweaters
November 4, 2018Hi there! Today I’m sharing a fun project featuring the Critter Sweaters by Simon Says Stamp.
How fun are theses critters with their hilariously adorable sweaters? I used a the I Love Donuts set to stamp the circles onto the bear’s red sweater. Then I added Postbox Red Nuvo Vintage Drops to the centers of the embossed circles. I used Copics to add the rosy cheeks and accents to the critter faces.
For the kitty cat’s sweater I embossed a snowflake from Ornamental and added Bonnie Blue Nuvo Vintage Crops. Tonic Studios is having a Nuvember celebration this month highlighting their various Nuvo products each day on their Instagram feed. Today I’m featuring the Nuvo Vintage Drops. They are really unique in that they dry matte which is a fun look to try.
To frame the critters I used a large Nested Circle dies onto Soft Navy cardstock. I added a sentiment from Coolest Yulest using the Sentiment Label dies to create the sentiment banners. The pattern paper behind the critters is from Pinkfresh Studio.
Make sure and check out the Tonic Studios Instagram feed to see the fun Nuvo products being highlighted all month long! Thanks so much for stopping by!
