Hello! Today I am sharing this project over on the WPlus9 blog featuring more of the Winter Collection.
To begin I embossed the snowflake image from Merriest Snowflake in clear onto Distress Watercolor Cardstock.
I painted over the embossed snowflake background using Liquid Watercolors in Sunshine, Key Lime, Aquamarine & Sapphire.
For the sentiment I used the Sending Cheer die. I die cut a few out of white cardstock as well as one one out of White Glitter Cardstock, adhering them together with spray adhesive. I embossed a coordinating sentiment from Merriest Snowflake in clear and blended Blueprint Sketch ink over the embossing so that it would match well with the painted background.
Here is a video to show you how I created this card.

Happy Halloween
October 30, 2018Hi there! Just poppin’ in with a few fun projects especially for Halloween. I’m not much of a super scary Halloween type, but I do love a really colorful, festive and candy-filled holiday:)
I used some fun Halloween products from Simon Says Stamp.
This first card uses the Spider Web background cling, which I embossed in clear and blended Deep Purple over top. I die cut the Ghost Boo die and layered another underneath that was ink blended with Carved Pumpkin and Squeezed Lemonade. I LOVE the festive color contrast on this one.
This next card features the Bwahaha stamp & die set.
To begin I blended a background panel with Aged Mahogany, Candied Apple, Carved Pumpkin & Wild Honey. I stamped the haunted house from Bwahaha with Thistle, Hydrangea and Deep Purple. I inked up the moon with Lemon Chiffon, Duckling & Sunshine.
Hope you have a fun, safe and sweet Halloween! Thanks so much for stopping by!
Stitched Thanks
October 29, 2018Hi there! Just popping in to share a fun project that I created using the Christmas Tree Stitching die.
I’ve been wanting to get into this whole stitching on cards thing for a while. This was an easy way to try it out without feeling too overwhelmed. I used the Chritmas Tree Stitching die and die cut it four times into a square panel.
I used eight different colors of floss to stitch the angled lines. For the sentiment I used the Thanks die. I die cut four of the “thanks” word dies and adhered them together with spray adhesive for dimension. Then I popped the stitched panel onto a Fog card base.

Mama Elephant-Bright Lights
October 24, 2018Hi there! Today I’m sharing this project featuring the Bright Lights stamp set over on the Mama Elephant blog.
To begin I stamped a couple of adorable reindeer images from Reindeer Games along with a strand of lights from Bright Lights. I maked off the reindeer with post-its and blended Distress Oxide inks in Worn Lipstick, Festive Berries & Squeezed Lemonade onto bristol paper.
After blending I flicked some water as well as Bubble Gum & Sunshine Liquid Watercolors. I removed the masks and colored the reindeer with Copics.
I stamped each of the light bulbs with Mama Elephant pigment inks and then added glossy accents to make them shine. I stamped the sentiment from Bright Lights and took a white gel pen to fill in the outlined letters.
You see that reindeer winking? That’s me winking at you:) Have a fantastic day♥

MFT-Sweet Holiday Penguins & Festive Flamingos
October 23, 2018Hi there! Today I have a couple of projects to share featuring some of the adorable new sets by My Favorite Things: Festive Flamingos & Sweet Holiday Penguins.
I was giddy when I saw that Stacey Yacula had designed a set for My Favorite Things. I love these festive penguin images. For the background I blended Salty Ocean & Tumbled Glass. I created a frame for the images using the Stitched Rectangles.
This next Tag features the Festive Flamingos. For the background I blended more Oxide inks onto Bristol using the Sun Ray Stencil and then flicked on some Aquamarine Liquid Watercolor. I used the Scallop Cross-Stitch Tag die. All of the images were colored with Copics with some glossy accents added to the strand of Christmas lights.

Mama Elephant-Happy New Year Wishes
October 22, 2018Hi there! Today I’m back with Mama Elephant highlighting the Happy New Year Wishes stamp set.
To begin I embossed the large scripty sentiment from Happy New Year Wishes in gold onto Scarlet Jewel cardstock. Then I stamped the sentiment again over the gold embossing, but slightly offset for a shadow effect using Merlot ink.
I die cut the sentiment using a large Nested Circle die. I die cut two larger solid circles using Raspberry Fizz & Hibiscus Burst cardstock. I embossed a coordinating sentiment in white onto black cardstock and layered the sentiment strip over a strip of gold cardstock.
