MFT-Sweet Holiday Penguins & Festive Flamingos

Hi there! Today I have a couple of projects to share featuring some of the adorable new sets by My Favorite Things: Festive Flamingos & Sweet Holiday Penguins.MFT-Sweet Holiday Penguins & Festive FlamingosI was giddy when I saw that Stacey Yacula had designed a set for My Favorite Things. I love these festive penguin images. For the background I blended Salty Ocean & Tumbled Glass. I created a frame for the images using the Stitched Rectangles.
MFT-Sweet Holiday PenguinsThis next Tag features the Festive Flamingos. For the background I blended more Oxide inks onto Bristol using the Sun Ray Stencil and then flicked on some Aquamarine Liquid Watercolor. I used the Scallop Cross-Stitch Tag die. All of the images were colored with Copics with some glossy accents added to the strand of Christmas lights.

Mama Elephant-Happy New Year Wishes

Hi there! Today I’m back with Mama Elephant highlighting the Happy New Year Wishes stamp set.Mama Elephant-Happy New Year WishesTo begin I embossed the large scripty sentiment from Happy New Year Wishes in gold onto Scarlet Jewel cardstock. Then I stamped the sentiment again over the gold embossing, but slightly offset for a shadow effect using Merlot ink.Mama Elephant-Happy New Year WishesI die cut the sentiment using a large Nested Circle die. I die cut two larger solid circles using Raspberry Fizz & Hibiscus Burst cardstock. I embossed a coordinating sentiment in white onto black cardstock and layered the sentiment strip over a strip of gold cardstock.

Hello! I’m back with Mama Elephant highlighting Let’s Go Caroling.Mama Elephant-Let's Go CarolingFor the background I blended Festive Berries, Aged Mahogany, Tumbled Glass & Blueprint Sketch Oxide inks onto Neenah Solar White cardstock followed by some flicks of water.
Mama Elephant-Let's Go CarolingI colored the adorable images from Let’s Go Caroling with Copics and used the coordinating dies to cut them out and pop them up onto the ink blended background. I added a few Christmas Magic sequins to finish it off.

Hi there! I’m back with Mama Elephant highlighting the Holiday Messages stamp set.Mama Elephant-Santa's Sleigh & Holiday MessagesTo begin I blended Shabby Shutters & Tumbled Glass onto Bristol paper. Then I flicked Sky Blue & Key Lime liquid watercolors over the ink blending.
Mama Elephant-Santa's Sleigh & Holiday MessagesI colored the images from Santa’s Sleigh with Copics and popped them up. For the sentiments I embossed a few from Holiday Messages onto Lipstick Red cardstock.

I also added a sweet little image from Little Snowman Agenda. All of the images were colored with Copics.Mama Elephant-Scallop Tags Trio & Holiday BittiesThe made the round Scallop Tag into a shaker tag by creating a circle opening using a Nested Circle die, backing the opening with acetate and filling it with seed beads.

Pinkfresh Studio October Release Blog Hop

Today I’m joining Pinkfresh Studio for their October Release Blog Hop!Pinkfresh Studio-Folklore & Geo StarI’ve created a couple of projects using several of the awesome new release products. Pinkfresh Studio-Geo Star 1 & 2My first card features the Geo Star 1 & 2 dies. For the Geo Star 1 die, I blended Mermaid Lagoon & Cracked Pistachio before die cutting the panel. I die cut three of the Geo Star 2 die and adhered them together using spray adhesive. Pinkfresh Studio-Geo Star 1 & 2For the sentiment I used the Smile word die with Aqua Glitter cardstock. To finish it off I added a few drops of White Nuvo Crystal drops.Pinkfresh Studio-Geo Star 1 & 2My next card features the beautiful Folklore die. For the background I blended Spun Sugar, Worn Lipstick and Wilted Violet onto Bristol paper. Then I flicked some Bubblegum & Lavender liquid watercolors. Pinkfresh Studio-FolkloreI adhered the die cut Folklore panel using spray adhesive and added a sentiment die cut from Hot Pink glitter cardstock with the Hugs die.
