WCMD and Simon Says Stamp!

Hi there & Happy World Cardmaking Day! Today I’m honored to join Simon Says Stamp in a blog hop celebrating this fun day!SSS-Ornate OrnamentsEach of the designers have created a project using the Ornate Ornaments set. To begin I embossed the ornaments in clear and blended Distress Oxide Inks over the embossing. Then I die cut the ornaments using the coordinating Ornate Ornaments dies. SSS-Ornate OrnamentsFor the background I blended more distress Oxides onto Bristol using Peacock Feathers, Cracked Pistachio, Spiced Marmalade & Candied Apple. I also flicked a little bit of liquid watercolors using Aquamarine & Clementine. I used gold thread to make the ornaments look as if they were hanging and adhered a few Crystal Reflections sequins & some drops of glossy accents to finish it off. Waffle Flower-October Release Blog Hop

Hi there! Today I’m excited to join Waffle Flower for their October Release Blog Hop.Waffle Flower-Yippee & Pull-tab Tree dieI’ve created a couple of projects using a few of the new sets from the new release. My first card features the adorable Yippee stamp set & coordinating dies.
Waffle Flower-YippeeFor the background I blended Distress Oxides in Mermaid Lagoon & Cracked Pistachio. I also flicked a little bit of Aquamarine Liquid Watercolor. I colored the images with Copics and embossed the sentiment. To finish it off I added a few Colorful Confetti sequins.
Waffle Flower-YippeeThis next card used the Pull-tab Tree die & the Add-on die. Isn’t this the coolest thing ever? When you pull the tab the tree pops out and becomes full & round.
Waffle Flower-Pull-tab Tree dieFor the background I used some Lawn Fawn pattern paper. I die cut the tree parts and blended each of them with Distress Oxides in Twisted Citron & Mowed Lawn. After assembling the tree, which by the way, you can find a tutorial on assembly over at Waffle Flower, I added so Nuvo Jewel Drops for colorful ornaments.Waffle Flower-Pull-tab Tree dieIn this next photo I was attempting to show how the tree folds flat to go inside an envelope. Pay no attention to my alien-like finger, ha!

Today I’m sharing a few adorable little favor boxes featuring the Mini Milk Box 3D-Creatve Cuts by Mama Elephant.Mama Elephant-Mini Milk Box 3D-Creative CutsI had so much fun creating these using some Pinkfresh Studio pattern papers. I used some brads on the roof closer and enamel dots for the door knobs.

Sunny Studio Stamps 3rd Birthday Blog Hop

Sunny Studio Stamps-Sweater Vest DiesTo begin I blended oxides in Twisted Citron & Lucky Clover onto white cardsock. Then I die cut the panel using the Sweater Vest dies. Then I ran it through using the Cable Knit Embossing Folder, which gave this awesome texture. I blended a little bit more over top of the embossing for more detail. I die cut the rest of the pieces including the v-neck, collar, bow tie and waistband. I completely forgot to snap a pick of the inside of the card where I stamped a holiday sentiment. Oh well, just imagine it. It’s really cute, ha!

The Limited Edition STAMPtember® Card Kit and it is SO MUCH FUN! I’ve created a few card using some of the contents starting with this super cute Preztel die. SSS-Pretzel Die & I Chews YouI die cut the pretzel and blended it with Scattered Straw & Vintage Photo. Then I took a white gel pen to add the dots for salt. I blended Blueprint Sketch & Mermaid Lagoon on the background and embossed a sentiment from the I Chews You stamp set that is also included in the kit.SSS-Pretzel Die & I Chews YouThis next little card uses the No Prob Llama Doodle Pop 3D Stickers by Doodlebug Design. There are three of these sweet sticker sets included in the kit.No Prob Llama Doodle Pop 3D StickersI blended Worn Lipstick, Spiced Marmalade & Squeezed Lemonade onto the background and simply popped the sticker onto the card. How sweet is this Llama with the glossy nose? This is a small little lunch note or gift card size.

I die cut a circle window opening to frame the image onto Island Blue cardstock and embossed a sentiment, also from I Chews You.

Mama Elephant-Joy Ornaments

Mama Elephant-Joy OrnamentsHi there! I’m back with Mama Elephant highlighting the Joy Ornaments set.
Mama Elephant-Joy OrnamentsTo create this card I die cut the letters into a white panel. I popped up the panel over colored cardstock, embossing the letters in white in the die cut openings. Then I stamped the ornament string and coordinating sentiment. I also added a decorative embossed detail in the center of the “o” that was die cut using a circle die.
