Altenew April 2018 Stamp/Die Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hi there! Today I’m excited to join Altenew for their April release blog hop. If you are following the hop then you should have arrived here from Kelli Cool’s blog. My first project features the Gradient Stripes stamp set, Mega Thanks die & the Strength Blooms stamp set.
Altenew-Mega Thanks & Gradient Stripes I used inks from the Sweet Dreams set to stamp the background with the Gradient Stripes set. Then I stamped the blooms from Strength Blooms with inks from the Cherry Blossom, Pocketful of Sunsine & Shades of Purple sets. For the sentiment I used the Mega Thanks die along with an embossed sentiment from the Many Thanks set.

Altenew-Mega Hello & Gradient Lines dieFor the background I blended orange & yellow inks from the Warm & Cozy & Pocketfull of Sunshine ink sets behind the Sweet Dreams blended Gradient Lines Cover die. For the sentiment I used the Mega Hello die along with an embossed sentiment from the Sentiments & Quotes set.

Mama Elephant-Birthday Monkeys & Tote BagTo begin I blended Distress Oxides in Worn Lipstick, Spiced Mamalade and Squeezed Lemonade on the background. Then I die cut the background panel using the Tri Window Creative Cut. Mama Elephant-Birthday Monkeys & Tote BagI colored the adorable images from Birthday Monkeys with Copics and popped them up with foam tape. The sentiment is from the Labeled Messages stamp set. Mama Elephant-Birthday Monkeys & Tote BagI created a tote using the Tote Bag Creative Cut and added the kitty from the Inside Pop – Bunny and Cat creative cuts. Mama Elephant-Tote Bag

May 2018 Card Kit-Kind Heart

Hi there! Today I’m sharing a couple of cards created using the latest May Card Kit by Simon Says Stamp called Kind Heart.SSS-Everything TogetherThis kit has the most gorgeous PinkFresh Studio papers & stickers along with two stamp sets: Take Heart & Everything Together.
SSS-Everything TogetherI used the Everything Together stamp set to create this card. I stamped the blooms using Mama Elephant pigment inks. To the centers of the flowers I added Glacier Enamel Accents along with a few scattered Clear Round Drops.
SSS-Everything TogetherThis next card uses some of the gorgeous PinkFresh Studio pattern papers included in the kit.

Fluttering By Release Blog Hop

Hi there! Today I’m joining Simon Says Stamp for day 2 of the Fluttering By Release Blog Hop. My project features the Heart Mandala die along with the Love You Mama set. SSS-Heart Mandala & Love You MamaTo begin I blended Distress Oxide inks in Candied Apple, Picked Raspberry, Spiced Marmalade & Squeezed Lemonade onto bristol followed by flicks of water. SSS-Heart Mandala & Love You MamaNext I die cut the Heart Mandala onto white cardstock and adhered the die cut panel to an acetate sheet using spray adhesive. I create a shaker filling it with Celosia & Like Magic sequins.SSS-Heart Mandala & Love You MamaFor the sentiment I used the Love You Mama stamp set & coordinating die. I embossed a coordinating sentiment from the set in white onto a black strip and popped both up with foam tape. SSS-Heart Mandala & Love You MamaHere’s a video to show you how I created this card.

WPlus9-Plush Friends Pup Die

Hi there! Today I’m sharing this project over on the WPlus9 blog featuring the adorable Plush Friend Pup Die.WPlus9-Plush Friends Pup DieI am a HUGE shape card fan and these Plush Friends dies by WPlus9 are perfect for making them. With this die you can make either a pup or a pig. There’s also an adorable Plush Friends Panda die, too!
WPlus9-Plush Friends Pup DieI die cut my pup out of cream cardstock and added cream stitching around the outsides, which is totally optional. I think I could get into this stitching on cards thing. Guess it’s time to get more embroidery floss, in every color of course, and then organize it, label it and store it. Whew, do I wanna open this can of worms?
WPlus9-Plush Friends Pup DieNot that the pup needed any help in the cutie patootie department, but I decided to add a bouquet of balloons. Everything’s better with balloons, am I right? I used an old circle punch, but you could also use a circle die or a balloon die, too.

SSS-Be Brave

Hi there! Have you seen the amazing new Fluttering By release by Simon Says Stamp? So many fun new products for spring, mother’s day and beyond! I have a project to share featuring the Yes You Can stamp set designed by my favorite Cathy Zielske and the adorable Picture Book Lion die.SSS-Yes You Can & Picture Book LionTo begin I stamped one of the sentiments from the Yes You Can stamp set all over the background using Lavender ink on Lavender cardstock. Then I die cut several pieces of solid colored cardstock for the Picture Book Lion. I used partial die cutting with one of the Stitched Oval dies to create a window frame for the the lion.

Limited Edition Mother’s Day Card Kit

Hi there! Have you seen the amazing new Limited Edition Mother’s Day Card Kit by Simon Says Stamp? It is absolutely gorgeous! Full of beautiful florals, gold accents and everything you need to create special projects for Mother’s Day and beyond.SSS-Limited Edition Mother's Day Card KitI’ve created two projects using the contents of the kit. This first card uses one of the gorgeous metallic gold die cuts from the 4×4 mat stack by DCWV that is included in the kit. For the background I used a piece of patter paper by My Mind’s Eye, also included in the kit.
SSS-Limited Edition Mother's Day Card KitFor the sentiment I used the Script Mom die and then embossed a coordinating sentiment from the Mom’s Clematis stamp set included in the kit. To finish it off I added some Nuvo drops in Rose Water and Metallic Bright Gold.
SSS-Limited Edition Mother's Day Card KitFor this next card I die cut two tags using the Stitched Dress Up Tag die. Then I die cut an oval into the white tag die cut using one of the Stitched Oval dies. This created a perfect frame for the gold Puffy Heart sticker. I also added some Flourish Thickers Stickers one each side of the puffy heart.
SSS-Limited Edition Mother's Day Card KitI embossed another sentiment from Mom’s Clematis and added the trimmings to the tags using the Carousel ribbons by Crate Paper.

I’ve created a project featuring the gorgeous Deco Wallpaper Stencil.
Altenew-Deco Wallpaper StencilI blended several Atlenew inks using the Deco Wallpaper Stencil. For then sentiment I die cut the “you” using the Caps Bold Alphabet Dies onto aqua glittered cardstock. I also stamped a coordinating sentiment using the Crafty Friends stamp set.

Sugar Pea Designs-Otterly AdorableTo begin I die cut three “wave” panels using the Sugar Cut-Card Front Element Builder dies. I blended each panel with distress oxide inks. I flicked water on each panel with a small wet brush. I also smooshed the oxide inks onto an acrylic block and with a wet brush I flicked the color onto each panel.
Sugar Pea Designs-Otterly AdorableI stamped the adorable otter images with Memento ink and colored them with Copics. Then I used the coordinating dies to cut them out and adhere them behind each wave.
