Pretty Pink Posh-May Blog Hop

Hi there! Today I’m excited to join Pretty Pink Posh for their May Release Blog Hop. I used the adorable Playful Puppies stamp set on this pop-up box card. How cute are these sweet pups? I colored the images with Copics and used the coordinating dies to cut them out. I embossed the sentiment in white onto pattern paper. My next project features the Hugs Shaker die. I used my Silhouette machine to cut out the circles onto colored cardstock. I popped up of the positive part of the die cut and added some added some gorgeous new Sparkling Clear Jewels. Not sure if there’s a right and wrong way to adhere these jewels, but I adhered these with the flat side facing up. They REALLY sparkle! GIVEAWAY! Layton’s Legacy Card Drive & Fundraiser Blog Hop

Hello there! Today I’m honored to be a part of a very special blog hop hosted by Lea Lawson. This hop is in honor of her sweet son, Layton Caleb. You can read more about Lea’s story here. I’ve created a card inspired by the moodboard below. I absolutely love the rustic, modern feel to this moodboard and what makes it even more special is the fact that it was Layton’s nursery moodboard.

I used the Picture Book Love Bear with rustic cream & white cardstock. I used Copics to add color to the hearts, eyes & nose. I also used the Picture Book Sky die with aqua & white cardstock, popping up the clouds for added dimension. I used a small triangle from the Live Well stamp set along with Barely Beige ink to stamp subtle triangles on the background. For the sentiment I used the Simple Sentiments No.1 stamp set and embossed it in white onto Smoke cardstock. I used one of the Tilted Banner dies to die cut the sentiment and popped it up with foam tape.You can find out several different ways to join along, whether you choose to donate, share, shop or even create. Waffle Flower May 2018 Release Blog Hop

Hi there! Today I’m excited to join Waffle Flower for their May Release Blog Hop!
My first project features the fun new Sunshine stamp set along with the Sun Shine Panel die.
I die cut the Sun Shine Panel die onto white cardstock and blended distress inks onto each die cut “ray”. Then I popped up each ray with foam tape and stamped the sentiment from the Sunshine stamp set.
My next project features the adorable Sweet Ice Cream Combo.
I used a few of the dies from the Ice Cream Combo set and die cut them onto the pink grid pattern paper. Then I stamped the images and colored them using Copics.

Altenew-May 2018 Inspiration Challenge

Hello, everyone! This month I’m joining Altenew in hosting the May 2018 Inspiration Challenge!

The inspiration photo for this month’s challenge is of a card from last year that I created featuring the Floral Shadow Stamp Set. There are so many great colors to choose from in this project, but we’ve decided to highlight the pink, aqua, and teal for the challenge.

Here’s what I came up with using this photo as my inspiration:
For the background, I blended Dew Drops & Aqualicious Crisp Dye Inks using the Stone Wall Stencil.For the floral images, I used the Garden Treasure Stamp Set. I stamped the blooms with Pink Diamond, Pinkalicious,& Razzleberry inks. I also used a bit of Autumn Blaze Crisp Dye Ink for the stamen in the blooms. For the leaves, I used Bamboo& Parrot inks. I used the coordinating Garden Treasure Die to cut the floral images out and pop them up onto the ink–blended background.For the sentiment, I used the Flower Arrangement Stamp Set. I stamped the “hello” and then used the coordinating Flower Arrangement Die to die cut the sentiment. I die cut four more white word die-cuts and adhered them together using spray adhesive to make a sturdy, dimensional word die–cut.

SSS-Picture Book Otter

Hi there! Just popping in to share a project featuring a few more goodies from the Fluttering By release by Simon Says Stamp.For the background I blended Maliblue & Audrey Blue ink onto a Sea Glass panel using the Tap Dance Stencil. Then I die cut three otters using the cutie patootie Picture Book Otter die. I die cut three window openings using one of the Nested Circle dies for the otters to pop out of and added a few embossed sentiments from the Messages For Everyday set.

Mama Elephant-Monkey Bag

Hi there! Today I’m sharing these cute tote bags over on the Mama Elephant blog featuring the Favor Bag Accessory-Monkey Creative Cuts.To create the tote bag I used the Tote Bag 3D-XL Creative Cuts with some rainbow patter paper by Lawn Fawn. This paper has my heart, but the monkey deserves the very best:)
I used the Favor Bag Accessory-Monkey for the monkey’s face and added a sentiment from the Girlfriend stamp set.
On the back of the tote bag I used one of the pocket dies from the Tote Bag 3D-XL Creative Cuts that holds a gift card perfectly. Now I would fill that tote with some Ghirardelli Dark Chocolate with Caramel & Sea Salt. What a perfect little gift it would be…monkey, rainbow, itunes & dark chocolate:)

Altenew-Folksy Florals

Hi there! Today I’m sharing this project over on the Altenew blog featuring the Folksy Florals stamp set.I used several images from the Folksy Florals Stamp Set to build a sort of symmetrical folk art design. Using the MISTI makes it easy to position your stamp, rotate it, and stamp it again, getting a perfectly symmetrical placement.To give the images a gradient look, I inked them up using a light and dark ink in the same color family. I used the Folksy Florals Stamp Set for the sentiment as well and popped up the panel onto a Harvest Gold base. To finish it off, I added a few enamel accents in Blue Ribbon & Wild Orchid. Mama Elephant-Swinging Borders

Hi there! I’m back with Mama Elephant to highlight the Swinging Borders stamp set.Rainbow party lights with monkeys swinging from them? I’ll take it! I colored the images with Copics and added the swinging monkeys from Little Monkey Agenda.
I used a white gel pen to add some accents to the party lights. For the sentiment I used Little Agenda Frames.

Hi there! Just popping in to share a sneak of a project I have over on the Simon Says Stamp blog featuring the Abstract Triangle Stencil. I blended the panel with Distress Oxides and also used some delicious Tonic Moonstone Glimmer Paste. Mama Elephant-Birthday Monkeys

Hi all! Today I’m back with Mama Elephant highlighting the adorable Birthday Monkeys set.I thought it would be fun to include the bike from Tandem Ride for the birthday critters to sit on. I colored the images with Copics and die cut them with the coordinating dies.
For the background I did a little bit of ink smooshing using distress inks onto Distress Watercolor Cardstock. For the sentiment I used Labeled Messages and finished it off with a few Crystal Reflections sequins.
