Hi there! Today I’m sharing a project that I’ve created using the fantastic new April 2018 Card Kit called Beautiful Day.
To begin I used the Butterfly Stencil along with several Distress Oxide inks to create this colorful background.
I die cut an oval window using one of the Stitched Oval dies and stamped a sentiment using the Beautiful Day stamp set. I finished it off with several Nuvo Jewel Drops in coordinating colors.
Here’s a video to show you how I created this card.
Don’t you love the bright & happy colors in this month’s kit? It’s right up my alley:) You can check out more information on this month’s kit over on the Simon Says Stamp blog. Thanks so much for stopping by!

My next card showcases the Picture Book Lamb die.
For the background I stamped the Reverse Polka background cling using Sea Glass & Maliblue ink. I die cut a window opening using one of the Nested Circle dies and added a sentiment from Oh Baby.

Best Days Release
March 7, 2018Hello! Have you seen the fun new Best Days Release over at Simon Says Stamp? So much fun stuff! I was giddy to see more Picture Book Animals.
I’ve created a couple of cards using some of my faves from the new release. My first card features the Picture book Croc. I die cut the Picture Book Croc with white cardstock and then blended Twisted Citron & Crushed Olive to add the color. I never thought I’d fall for a croc, but this one’s pretty darn adorbs.
I used the fun new Waves and Hills stencil with distress inks in Cracked Pistachio, Peacock Feathers, Mermaid Lagoon & Salty Ocean. I die cut a waves with one of the Slopes & Hills dies so that I could tuck the Picture Book Croc behind. I added a super fun sentiment from the new Emphatic set by CZ Design. I get absolutely giddy when I see new CZ Design stuff!
Next up is a baby card featuring the Sweet Elephant dies.
I used the Picture Book Sky for the background and die cut the elephants in Fog & Smoke cardstock. I added a simple sentiment from the Oh Baby stamp set.
Check out the new Best Days Release HERE! Thanks so much for stopping by!

March 7, 2018
Hi there! Today I’m excited to join Altenew for their March Release Blog Hop. If you are following the hop then you should have arrived here from the Altenew Scrapbook Blog.
My first card features the gorgeous new Classy Stripes Stencil.
I blended several of the Altenew inks layering the Classy Stripes Stencil and angling it towards the center of the card. I used the Envelope Liner die for the “hello” and embossed a coordinating sentiment from the Adore You set.
My next card features the Scallop Builder Stencil. Both of these stencils are so timeless and give utterly jaw-dropping results with minimal effort.
I blended more Altenew inks using the Scallop Builder Stencil and stamped a sentiment from the Everything About You as well as embossing a coordinating sentiment in white onto a strip of black cardstock.
Here’s a video to show you how I created these cards:

March 5, 2018Hi there! Today I’m sharing this project over on the Mama Elephant blog featuring the adorable Little Bunny Agenda set.
I used the Grid Window die to frame each bunny and blended distress inks in each square.
I stamped the images with Memento ink, colored them with Copics and used the coordinating Little Bunny Agenda dies to cut them out and pop them up with foam tape.
For the sentiment I used the Occasional Labels set.
Thanks so much for stopping by today!
Limited Editon 2018 Easter Card Kit
March 1, 2018
Hi there! Have you seen the latest Limited Edition Easter Card Kit by Simon Says Stamp? It’s such a cool kit with a little bit of everything for all your Easter/Spring themed projects. I’m sharing a couple of projects showcasing the kit.
My first card uses some of the gorgeous Lawn Fawn plaid paper included in the kit. I couldn’t wait to try the Deco Foil Adhesive Pen along with the Gina K Designs Deco Foil sheets on the  plaid paper. It is so easy to use and completely addictive.
The textured background paper is also included in the kit by Tonic and I added a sentiment using one of the stickers from the Simple Stories sticker sheet as well as a coordinating embossed sentiment from the Easter Wishes stamp set.
For this next card I had some fun using the Easter Egg Design Trio Stencil Set that comes in the kit.
I layered a couple of the stencils to create this patterned Easter egg using Cracked Pistachio & Mermaid Lagoon distress oxide inks. The embossed sentiment is from the Easter Wishes stamp set.
Here’s a video to show you how I created my cards.
This is a Limited Edition kit so once they’re gone, they’re gone, but many of the contents can be purchased separately. There’s a video over on the Simon Says stamp blog walking through the contents of the kit. Thanks so much for stopping by!
Too Rad to be Sad
February 28, 2018Hello there! Just popping in on this last day of February with a spicy little number to share with you featuring the Grid Play background & stamp set along with the Archie Alpha dies.
To begin I stamped the Grid Play Background in Moonlight pigment ink. Then I stamped each one of those small triangles to fill the entire panel. It looks like pattern paper, but it’s even better. It’s like the difference between a homemade chocolate chip and a store bought one. Homemade is always better:)
As you can see, I am in love with the Archie Alpha dies and can’t stop using them. I just love being able to make my own ridiculous sentiments like this one. I saw this on a t-shirt and it made me laugh and plus it rhymes, ha!
Here’s a quick little video to show you how I made this card. Here’s to a “rad” dayđ
I have a couple of winners to announce: The winner from my Sakura Blossom giveaway is BarbGhig. The winner from my MFT giveaway is Cathy Lillie.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
Oh, Donut Even
February 27, 2018Hi there! Popping in with a fun, little card to make you smile todayđ
I had some fun with the CZ Design Archie Alpha dies spelling out this cheeky little phrase. For the donut I used the I Love Donuts set and colored it with Copics and used white pigment ink to stamp the sprinkles and later went over the sprinkles with a white gel pen for more intensity. I used a 1″ circle punch to cut out the donut.
How about that fun pattern paper? It’s from the new Really Rainbow 6×6 pack from Lawn Fawn. Pretty sure I need a lifetime supply of this paper.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
