Hi there! Have you seen the amazing new Limited Edition Mother’s Day Card Kit by Simon Says Stamp? It is absolutely gorgeous! Full of beautiful florals, gold accents and everything you need to create special projects for Mother’s Day and beyond.
I’ve created two projects using the contents of the kit. This first card uses one of the gorgeous metallic gold die cuts from the 4×4 mat stack by DCWV that is included in the kit. For the background I used a piece of patter paper by My Mind’s Eye, also included in the kit.
For the sentiment I used the Script Mom die and then embossed a coordinating sentiment from the Mom’s Clematis stamp set included in the kit. To finish it off I added some Nuvo drops in Rose Water and Metallic Bright Gold.
For this next card I die cut two tags using the Stitched Dress Up Tag die. Then I die cut an oval into the white tag die cut using one of the Stitched Oval dies. This created a perfect frame for the gold Puffy Heart sticker. I also added some Flourish Thickers Stickers one each side of the puffy heart.
I embossed another sentiment from Mom’s Clematis and added the trimmings to the tags using the Carousel ribbons by Crate Paper.
You can see more about this Limited Edition Mother’s Day Card Kit over on the Simon Says Stamp blog. Thanks so much for stopping by!

SugarPea Designs 4th Birthday Bash
March 30, 2018
Hi there! Today I’m excited to join Sugar Pea Designs for their 4th Birthday Bash Blog Hop.
My project features the Otterly Adorable stamp set.
To begin I die cut three “wave” panels using the Sugar Cut-Card Front Element Builder dies. I blended each panel with distress oxide inks. I flicked water on each panel with a small wet brush. I also smooshed the oxide inks onto an acrylic block and with a wet brush I flicked the color onto each panel.
I stamped the adorable otter images with Memento ink and colored them with Copics. Then I used the coordinating dies to cut them out and adhere them behind each wave.
To celebrate, SugarPea Designs is offering a coupon code: BDAY04 for customers to receive 15% off their entire purchase AND a FREE 4×8 stamp set with any purchase (valid until April 7th 11:59 EST).

Altenew-Hope
March 28, 2018Hello there! Today I’m sharing this project over on the Altenew blog featuring the Hope Stamp Set. I thought I would try a color combination that I’ve never tried before. I don’t think I’ve ever combined purple and orange together, other than maybe at Halloween time, but they are absolutely gorgeous paired together.
To being I blended Midnight Violet on the bottom of a panel and Orange Cream on the top. I adhered the beautiful Dotted Washi Tape over the ink blended panel, which really toned down the colors, but still allows you to see the subtle purple and orange ink blending.
The next step was stamping the beautiful floral images from the Hope Stamp Set. For the bloom I used the Shades of Purple ink set and for the leaves I used the Green Meadows ink set. I also added Sunkissed and Autumn Blaze for the center of the bloom.
Then I die cut a circle window opening into the background panel using one of the Halftone Circles dies. I stamped the sentiment from the Hope Stamp Set and embossed a coordinating sentiment in white onto a strip of royal purple cardstock.
Here is a video to show you how I created this card.
I have a winner to announce from the March Release blog hop.
Congratulations Kathy McCluskey!
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Mama Elephant-Dragon Wishes
March 26, 2018Hi there! Today I’m sharing this project over on the Mama Elephant blog featuring the adorable Dragon Wishes stamp set along with the Kingdom Trio-Creative Cuts.
To begin I die cut three panels with the Kingdom Trio-Creative Cuts and blended each of those with distress inks. Then I blended the card base to give it a soft sky background. I also flicked the blended background with water.
I colored the images from Dragon Wishes with Copics and die cut them using the coordinating Dragon Wishes-Creative Cuts. The sentiment is also from Dragon Wishes.
That’s all for today! Thanks so much for stopping by!

Mama Elephant-Lots of Letters
March 22, 2018Hi there! I’m back with Mama Elephant highlighting the Lots of Letters stamp set.
I created a humorous circle shaker card using the Basic Circles Creative Cuts and stamped the sentiment with the Lots of Letters stamp set. You might not catch it, but I realized, after I made this card, that I accidentally used the number 0 for the “O” in moody & booty. Whoops! Oh, well! Not that noticeable, well, until now:)
Check out the Mama Elephant blog to see more inspiration using this fun Lots of Letters set. Thanks so much for stopping by!
