I embossed a sentiment from the Story of Us stamp set.

SSS-Trick or Treat Shadow Box

Happy Halloween! I’ve been so in love with the Lawn Fawn shadow boxes lately that I wanted to make one featuring these adorable Trick or Treat critters, but the images were too large so I had to get creative and make my own.SSS-Trick or TreatI created the shadow box by trimming 2 pieces of Royal Purple cardstock to 3.5″ x 6.75″. Then I scored both of those at 4.5″ & 6.5″. I used one of the Stitched Rectangle dies to create the window opening and the Stitched Slopes & Hills to add some hills inside the shadow box.
SSS-Trick or TreatFor the images I used a combination of the Trick or Treat & Ghostly Greetings stamp sets. I stamped them with Memento ink & colored them with Copics. How fun is this? I think I wanna make a shadow box for everything now:)
SSS-Trick or TreatWishing you a safe & happy Halloween! Thanks so much for stopping by!

I also have a winner to announce from my Spellbinders blog hop post.
Congrats Marjorie Dumontier!

SSS-Kind Flower Card Kit

Hi there! Today I’m sharing a project I created using some of the fun goodies included in the latest November Card Kit by Simon Says Stamp.
SSS-November 2017 Card Kit-Kind FlowersI just had to create a layered project becasue there are so many beautiful papers in this kit. I started with a cream card base and added a layer using the gorgeous silver embossed paper. Next I stitched a strip of the soft pink pattern paper from the Pebbles paper pack.
SSS-November 2017 Card Kit-Kind FlowersThen I used my Silhouette machine to cut a few flowers of green cardstock & vellum using this 3D Flower file by Lori Whitlock. I topped the flowers with one of the beautiful accents stickers included in the kit and then embossed a sentiment from the Kind Flowers stamp set onto slate cardstock.SSS-November 2017 Card Kit-Kind FlowersI finished the card off with some Pretty Pink Posh sequins. I don’t normally create such layered projects like this, but I love how the textures & colors work so well together. You can see many more gorgeous projects featuring the November Card kit in the gallery. Thanks so much for stopping by!
