Hello there & Happy DieCember®! The latest DieCember® release by Simon Says Stamp is now available and there is so much to love. I have a couple of project to share with you using a few of my faves from the release.
First up is a project featuring the new Picture Book dies. The Picture Book dies are some of my most favorite dies by Simon and I was absolutely giddy to see a Hippo, a Moose & a Polar Bear💗
For the background I partially die cut one of the larger Nested Circle dies to create a circle frame and blended distress inks behind using Candied Apple, Spiced Marmalade & Squeezed Lemonade.
The sentiment is also from the DieCember® release and is called the Script Miss You die.
Next up is another fantastic new die! I LOVE this one. It’s called the Happy HB die.
I kept this one really clean & simple adhering several strips of colored cardtsock in a row to show through the die cut letters of the Happy HB die. I used one of the Nested Circle dies to die cut the Happy HB die cut into a circle shape and popped it up over the colorful strips.
The colors of solid cardstock I use are: (top to bottom)
Amethyst Allure, Royal Purple, Doll Pink, Schoolhouse Red, Chilli Pepper, Orange Peel, Sunshine
I’ll be sharing more projects in the next few days so stay tuned for the blog hops & giveaways!!
Check out the new DieCember® release below & thanks so much for stopping by!

I used several of the gorgeous pattern papers in the kit and added photos behind the door for a fun surprise.
For this next card I used the Snowflake stencil by Tim Holtz along with the Ranger Opaque White Texture paste included in the kit.
For the sentiment I used one of the Heidi Swapp foil accent holiday stickers included in the kit.
Here’s a video to show you how I created these projects.

Mama Elephant-Scripty Notes
November 27, 2017Hi there! Today I have a couple of projects over on the Mama Elephant blog featuring the Scripty Notes stamp set.
For my first card I combined the Scripty Notes set with The Cat’s Meow.
I stamped the cats with Memento ink and colored them with Copics. Then I die cut a circle window into Soft Stone cardstock to frame the sentiment from the Scripty Notes set and added some sparkling clear sequins to finish it off.
For my next card I used some sweet images from the Whimsical Winter stamp set.
I also used the Framed Tags-Hug it Out creative cuts for the red frame & brown tag. I colored the images with Copics and added a bit of ink blending on the background using Mermaid Lagoon & Blueprint Sketch.
That’s all for today! Thanks so much for stopping by!
Lawn Fawn Cyber Week Exclusive Friends Forever
November 27, 2017
Hi there! Today I’m excited to join Simon Says Stamp again for another exciting cyber week reveal. I’ve created a couple of projects featuring the fun new Friend Forever exclusive stamp & die set designed by Lawn Fawn.
My first card uses the sweet little birdie images. I stamped several on a curve and colored them in non other than rainbow order:)
I used the Card Curved Edge die on the striped pattern paper and the sentiment is also from the Friend Forever set.
This next card uses the Magic Color Slider dies by Lawn Fawn along with the sweet otter images from the Friend Forever set.
I used the Put a Bow on It die on white glittered cardstock and added a sentiment from the Winter Otter stamp set. I embellished it with some snowflake sequins & clear drops.

I have a video. It’s not a tutorial, but more me just chitty chatting about the new exclusive set and cards that I’ve made using images from it.
This is a shadow box from back in September that I made using the same otter images & santa hat that are also included in the Friends Forever set.
Like I mentioned in the video, not all of these images are in the Friends Forever set, but some are and these are just some ideas in ways that you might be able to use them and draw from sets that you already have. This next one is an oldie but I love that sweet mouse image that is also included in the new exclusive and it’s the perfect size for the Snow Globe Shaker.
This is another older project using the same sweet mouse image and sentiment included in Friends Forever.
One last throw-back. I used the sweet dachshund & scarf image that is also included in Friends Forever.

Check out the blog hop for even more amazing inspirationg!

Suzy’s Classical Christmas Watercolor Prints
November 26, 2017
Hi there! Today I’m excited to join Simon Says Stamp in a blog hop to reveal Suzy’s Classical Christmas Watercolor Prints. I LOVE all of Suzy’s Watercolor Prints! They make the best little gifts for crafty friends. In fact my kids are always asking, “Mom, do you have any new Suzy’s Watercolor prints, yet?” They love them, too!
For this card I simply colored one of her new Classical Christmas Watercolor Prints with Copics and turned it into a shaker card.
I created the frame using one of the Basic Rectangle dies. Then I used foam tape strips to create the shaker and filled it with Sparkling Clear Snowflake Sequins.

Purple Onion Designs-Holiday Sale
November 23, 2017
Hi there! Today I’m sharing a couple of Purple Onion Designs projects from their new “Twas The Night Before Christmas Collection.
My first card features the Pine Tree Farm for the background, Yule for the snowman and Essential Holiday Greetings for the sentiment.
I stamped the Pine Tree Farm on both the card base and the panel. Then I die cut the oval window into the panel and popped it up over the background so that it blends in but also frames the sweet Yule Snowman. All images were stamped with Memento & colored with Copics. I masked the trees with a post-it note and blended Mermaid Lagoon on the background.
My next card features the Pine Tree Farm again for the background and then Red & Clause for the images. The sentiment is also from the Essential Holiday Greetings set.
How adorable are these sweet furry critters? I absolutely love Stacey Yacula’s designs. I found it worked great for me to apply EZ Mount foam to my stamps so that I could use them with my MISTI to get a great impression.

The Purple Onion Designs Holiday sale starts this Friday, November 24, 2017 and runs through
Friday, December 8, 2017. All stamps are 25% off, including all stamps in the sale category.

Altenew Markers Release Blog Hop + Giveaway
November 20, 2017
Hi there! Today I’m joining Altenew for their November blog hop featuring their newly release Artist Markers. If you are following the hop then you should have arrived here from the lovely Kathy Racoosin’s blog.
I have a couple of projects that showcase some of the gorgeous colors in the Artist Markers B & C sets.
For my first card I simply scribbled several of the markers onto Yupo paper. The Yupo paper has a coating on it that works beautifully with alcohol based markers. I added some blooms from Garden Treasure that were embossed in white onto vellum along with a sentiment from Label Love.
My next card used the same Yupo paper that I scribbled the exact same colors on as above, but afterwards I added some drops of alcohol blending solution which created a magical reaction.
For the sentiment I used one of the Script Words 2 dies and embossed a coordinating sentiment from Super Script.
Here’s a video to show you how I created these projects.

Mama Elephant-Botanic Thanks
November 17, 2017Hi there! Today I’m joining Mama Elephant highlighting the new Botanic stamp set.
I embossed the large floral sentiment in white onto a kraft card base.
Then I trimmed several scraps of cardstock to 1/4″ wide and adhered them together. I embossed the floral sentiment onto the strips and adhered it to the card base. I added some Copic shading to the sentiment & blooms to make them stand out a bit more.
Here’s a video to show you how I created this card.
I also have a winner to announce from my Deer Love post.
Congratulations to Isabelle!
