Mama Elephant-November Stampede

Welcome to the Mama Elephant Design Team blog hop!

Our newest release is now live and available for purchase in the store!

I’ve created three gift card holders featuring the new Stitched Gift Tag-Creative Cuts.Mama Elephant-STITCHED GIFT TAG - CREATIVE CUTSI had so much fun embellishing these little puppies! Can you tell, ha ha!
Mama Elephant-STITCHED GIFT TAG - CREATIVE CUTS For the base of each tag I used patten paper by Pinkfresh Studio. I embossed a sentiment from the Girlfriends stamp set on each of the little tags.
Mama Elephant-STITCHED GIFT TAG - CREATIVE CUTSI used a fun mix of textures on the bows and added some jewel brads & gems that I’ve been hoarding for years. I had to raid my house to find some half-decent looking gift cards. Subway wasn’t exactly what I had in mind, but oh well:)
Mama Elephant-STITCHED GIFT TAG - CREATIVE CUTSSo Hobby Lobby had their ribbons & trims half-off this week and mama got a bit carried away:) I’m in LOVE with the sequin ribbon, mini white pom-pom trim & chunky gold glitter ribbon. I was trying to channel my inner Rebecca Luminarias on these. I adore every single thing she makes.Mama Elephant-STITCHED GIFT TAG - CREATIVE CUTS

SSS-Trick or Treat Shadow Box

Happy Halloween! I’ve been so in love with the Lawn Fawn shadow boxes lately that I wanted to make one featuring these adorable Trick or Treat critters, but the images were too large so I had to get creative and make my own.SSS-Trick or TreatI created the shadow box by trimming 2 pieces of Royal Purple cardstock to 3.5″ x 6.75″. Then I scored both of those at 4.5″ & 6.5″. I used one of the Stitched Rectangle dies to create the window opening and the Stitched Slopes & Hills to add some hills inside the shadow box.
SSS-Trick or TreatFor the images I used a combination of the Trick or Treat & Ghostly Greetings stamp sets. I stamped them with Memento ink & colored them with Copics. How fun is this? I think I wanna make a shadow box for everything now:)
SSS-Trick or TreatWishing you a safe & happy Halloween! Thanks so much for stopping by!

I also have a winner to announce from my Spellbinders blog hop post.
Congrats Marjorie Dumontier!

Today I’m sharing this project over on the Altenew blog featuring the Halftone Stars stamp set along with the Halftone Stars Nesting die set.Altenew-Halftone StarsTo begin I die cut one of the larger star dies repeatedly all over a panel of white cardstock. For the background I blended Arctic, Carribean Sky, Persian Blue & Sapphire ink onto bristol paper. I also die cut some smaller stars and blended them with Citrus Burst & Honey Drizzle.
Altenew-Halftone StarsI added one final layer of stars using the smallest star die on glittered cardstock. For the sentiment I used the Halftone Stars stamp set and embossed in white onto a strip of black cardstock.
Altenew-Halftone StarsHere’s a video to show you how I created this card.
