SSS-Kind Flower Card Kit

Hi there! Today I’m sharing a project I created using some of the fun goodies included in the latest November Card Kit by Simon Says Stamp.
I just had to create a layered project becasue there are so many beautiful papers in this kit. I started with a cream card base and added a layer using the gorgeous silver embossed paper. Next I stitched a strip of the soft pink pattern paper from the Pebbles paper pack.
Then I used my Silhouette machine to cut a few flowers of green cardstock & vellum using this 3D Flower file by Lori Whitlock. I topped the flowers with one of the beautiful accents stickers included in the kit and then embossed a sentiment from the Kind Flowers stamp set onto slate cardstock.I finished the card off with some Pretty Pink Posh sequins. I don’t normally create such layered projects like this, but I love how the textures & colors work so well together. Mama Elephant-On the Hills

Hi there! Today I’m sharing this project over on the Mama Elephant blog featuring the new On the Hills Creative Cuts.To begin I blended distress inks onto the background using Mermaid Lagoon & Blueprint Sketch.The I die cut two of the clouds into may blended background and popped the panel onto a white card base.
I die cut the houses & trees and blended distress inks onto them as well for color and tucked them in behind the hills.
For the sentiment I used the “hello” word die that is included in the On the Hills set and stacked several together using spray adhesive. I topped it off with one that had been cut from glittered cardstock.Nothing better than a row of rainbow houses to brighten your day, right? Thanks so much for stopping by!

Hello Sweet Cheeks

Hello there sweet cheeks! Today I’m sharing this fun little number over on the Simon Says Stamp blog featuring a few of my favorite thing right now. I can’t put down the Grid Play Stencil and always, always, always have my mini distress cubes handy to use with them. I’m loving blending on Bristol paper lately.I’m also in love with anything the Cathy Zielske designs. Her Hello stamp & die set are one of my faves! Wednesday Sketch Challenge – Sketch 356

Hi there! Today is my last guest post for the Wednesday Sketch Challenges for the month of October.My card features the Die-namics Huge Love along with a coordinating sentiment from X’s and O’s.

For the background I blended Distress Oxide inks onto Bristol paper using Candied Apple, Picked Raspberry & Spiced Marmalade.I layered up several of the “love” die cuts for dimension, topping it off with glittered cardstock. I embossed a coordinating sentiment from X’s and O’s and added dots of glossy accents to finish it off.

Mama Elephant-Peaceful Wishes

Hi there! I’m back with Mama Elephant highlighting the Peaceful Wishes stamp set. I’ve created a festive little gift ensemble to share with you.I embossed the large scripty sentiment in white onto red cardstock and then die cut it using the Favor Bag die. I also embossed one of the doves onto Navy cardstock and made a cute little tag for the Favor bag using the Winter Taggins dies.
For the card I used some Pinkfresh Studio pattern paper and added a sentiment from Peaceful Wishes. I also added a red bloom from the December Days Ephemera pack.

I stamped the heart image from Wishful Taggins inside each window and filled with sheer sequins.

Hi there! I’m back with another weekly Sketch Challenge!For this week’s sketch(below) I used the Die-namics Scenic Snow Globe along with the Die-namics Joy for the sentiment.
I used solid colored cardstock and glittered cardstock for the snow on the rooftops & hills.
One thing that is fun about sketch challenges is that it forces you to try layouts that you never would have thought of and to look at your supplies and stretch your brain.

Mama Elephant-Whimsical Winter

Hi there! I’m back with Mama Elephant highlighting the adorable Whimsical Winter stamp set.I adore these images! I simpy stamped them with Memento ink, colored them with Copics and used the coordinating dies to cut them out and pop them up onto my card base. I did blend some very light Mama Elephant pigment ink on the background for a subtle ground & sky.

Mama Elephant-So Many Snowmen

Hi there! I’m back with Mama Elephant highlighting the So Many Snowmen stamp set.
I stamped the images with Memento ink and colored them with Copics. I added some Wink of Stella for shimmer and used the coordinating die to cut the image out and pop it up onto my card base. For the sentiment I adhered several die cuts together with spray adhesive and topped it off with Glitter cardstock.

Spellbinders October 2017 Blog Hop

Hi there! Today I’m excited to join Spellbinders for their October blog hop. If you are following the hop then you should have arrived here from Seth Apter’s blog. I have a project featuring the beautiful Little Plants Etched dies. I blended several distress inks onto Bristol paper and then die cut it using the Little Plants Etched dies.I flicked some black acrylic paint onto the background and embossed a sentiment from the Scripted stamp set by Papertrey Ink.
