Hi there! I’m back with Mama Elephant highlighting the Summer Days stamp set.
For the background I blended distress inks with flicks of water.
The images were stamped with Memento ink and colored with Copics. Then I used the coordinating dies to cut them out and popped them up with foam tape.
Check out the Mama Elephant blog to see more inspiration using this adorable Summer Days stamp set. Thanks so much for stopping by!
Hero Arts 2017 Summer Catalog Release blog hop
May 17, 2017
Hello there! Today I’m excited to be joining Hero Arts in a blog hop to launch their 2017 Summer Catalog. There are some seriously fantastic designs & products in this new release. You can check out the 2017 Summer Catalog HERE. I’ve created a couple of cards using a few of the fun new sets.
My first card features the Unicorn Stamp & Cut set. This set is pure perfection!
I don’t think unicorns & rainbows will ever go out of style, do you?…not on my watch. This takes me back to my 5th grade sticker collection and Lisa Frank obsession. I love it just as much now as I did then.
I used distress inks for the background in Cracked Pistachio, Mermaid Lagoon & Blueprint Sketch. I colored the images with Copics and added a few Sparkling Clear Crystal by Studio Katia to finish it off. These crystals are seriously ah-mazing!
This next card features the Paper Layering Shark die set as well as the Killer Messages stamp set. So my Charlie(he’s 11) came home from school today and I held this card up to him. He said, “Who’s that for?” I said, “Nobody yet.” He said, “That is SO COOL MOM!”…need I say more? He just said I was cool. Well, he said the card was cool, but I made the card, so doesn’t that indirectly make ME cool? Just go with it:)
I blended more distress inks on the background with lots of flicks of water. I die cut the shark with Smoke, White & Slate cardstock and added also added some googly eyes. The sentiment is from Killer Messages which goes absolutely perfectly with this Paper Layering Shark die.

Mama Elephant-May 2017 Stampede
May 15, 2017
Welcome to the Mama Elephant Design Team blog hop!
Our newest release is now live and available for purchase in the store!

My project features The Cat’s Meow stamp & die set.
You can never have too many cats, right? My little Emma said, “Mom, why are you coloring the cats pink & purple?” and I said, “Because I like them that way.” Whatever floats your boat, right? I stamped two rows of cats and colored them with Copics.
It was easy to stamp two rows of cats to make a big happy crowd of kittens. Then using the coordinating dies, I partially die cut only the top of the cats and popped the panel up over some pattern paper. The sentiment is from the Sweetest Greetings set.

For the sentiment I used the Out of the Box stamp set. I also added a few Crystal Clear sequins to finish it off.

SSS-Suzy’s Mothers & Flowers Paintables
April 30, 2017Hi there! Just popping in to share a fun, little Mother’s Day card using one of the Suzy’s Mothers & Flowers Paintable Prints.
My kids always want to play with these Watercolor Prints. They make the best little crafty gifts for people, too. They can be colored in a variety of ways, but I just used Copics this time.
I added Wink of Stella, Glossy Accents, Enamel Accents as well as Nuvo Jewel drops to each flower & leaf for some extra detail & shimmer.
To finish it off I popped it up onto a card base. Such a quick & easy way to make a pretty card. You can check out the rest of the fun Watercolor Prints HERE. Thanks so much for stopping by!
