Hi there! Today I’m sharing this project over on the Mama Elephant blog featuring the gorgeous new Floral Series-Pretty Peonies stamp set. I have always loved peonies. They are what I used for my wedding some 20 years ago.
To create my card I embossed the blooms in clear and blended several Mama Elephant pigment inks for the color. I’ve said it a million times, but the Mama Elephant pigment inks blend “like buttah”.
I flicked some black paint on the card base and fussy cut the blooms, popping them up with foam tape. The sentiment is from Organic Blooms.
That’s all for today! Thanks so much for stopping by!
Mama Elephant-Little Dog Agenda
April 24, 2017Hi there! I’m back with Mama Elephant highlighting the Little Dog Agenda set.
Instead of die cutting each dog out I die cut a whole panel using the Little Dog Agenda dies. I arranged them on a piece of Cream Linen cardstock to make them evenly spaced and ran the whole panel through the Big Shot.
Then I placed the die cut panel onto a white card base and stamped each dog image into the die cut openings and colored them with Copics. For the sentiment I used the Smile Script die & Sunday Sentiments.
Check out the Mama Elephant blog for more inspiration using this adorable Little Dog Agenda set. Thanks so much for stopping by!
SSS-Happy Thoughts
April 23, 2017Hi there! Just popping in to share a little peek of a project I have over on the Simon Says Stamp blog.
This is a really fun technique to create a super easy & colorful background using one stamp. I used the solid block sentiment from the Birthday Flower set. Head over to the Simon Says Stamp blog to see the full project & video! Thanks so much for stopping by!
Happy Wedding Day
April 22, 2017Hi there! Today I have a wedding card to share. My friend asked me the other day if I had any wedding cards. Would you believe that in all the truckloads of cards that I have there’s barely any wedding cards? Even if I had some, I’d still wanna make a new one anyways because of course I would definitely need to know the wedding colors so that I could customize it to match, lol!
You know what was so fun about making this card? I mixed and matched to me heart’s content using stamps from Papertrey Ink with Mama Elephant inks and Simon Says Stamp dies. It was SO liberating, ha! Seems silly doesn’t it, but it’s something that I never do.
Watch out world! I’m on a mixin’ matching’ roll now:) I LOVE this Brushed Blooms set by Papertrey Ink. Mama Elephant pigment inks are so buttery delicious and the super Nested Circle die by Simon Says Stamp is fantastic for framing the whole focal.
For the sentiment I used the One Liners: Happy die along with the coordinating stamp set. Just had to make a purple-y envelope to match, too, with the envelope punch board. Bring on the wedding season! Thanks so much for stopping by!
Mama Elephant-Sticky Notes
April 21, 2017Hello! I’m back with Mama Elephant highlighting the fun new Sticky Notes stamp set.
For my background I used the Classic Stripes cover die and blended distress inks onto both panels with flicks of water.
I stamped the images with Memento and colored them with Copics. These cute little critters are so much fun to pop out from behind the sticky notes and anywhere!

Check out the Mama Elephant blog to see more inspiration using this fun new Sticky Notes set. Thanks so much for stopping by!
Waffle Flower Crafts-Magical Flower Border Die
April 19, 2017Hi there! Today I’m sharing this project over on the Waffle Flower Crafts blog featuring the gorgeous Magical Flower Border Die.
For the background I smoothed and blended distress inks with lots of water flicks. I love the stark contrast against the crisp white die cuts.
For the sentiment I used the Enveloper Choice stamp set and embossed it in white onto a strip of black cardstock.
Here’s a video to show you how I created this card.
That’s all for today! Thanks so much for stopping by!
Mama Elephant-Wishing You
April 17, 2017Hello there! Today I’m joining Mama Elephant as we highlight the Wishing You stamp set.
To create the background I trimmed several pieces of cardstock into rays and then adhered them onto a piece of scrap cardstock. I ran the whole panel through using one of the Nested Circled dies and embossed the beautiful “wishing you” sentiment in white.
I added another coordinating embossed sentiment from Wishing You along with a few sparkling clear sequins.

SSS-Happy Easter
April 16, 2017Hi there! Just popping in to wish everyone a very Happy Easter!
For this card I embossed Happy Easter sentiment several times in clear creating a background pattern and then masking off rays I blended in distress inks.
I die cut the cross image from He is Risen and added the arched sentiment from Happy Easter. I used the Nested Circle dies to create the arch for the sentiment.
To finish it off I added some Nuvo Jewel drops. These are my latest addiction. I can’t get enough of their translucent sherbert-y color. Sending Easter Blessings your way today! Thanks so much for stopping by!

SSS-May 2017 Animation Card Kit
April 13, 2017
Hi there! Today I have a fun project to share using the awesome new May Animation Card Kit by Simon Says Stamp.
This card kit includes a fun stamp set exclusively designed for Simon Says Stamp by Uchi’s Desgins, and it allows you to create animated images when you slide it being the grid lined acetate paper. This is truly unique and the result is absolutely hypnotic!
There are some gorgeous designer papers included as well by Illustrated Faith. I created a layered window opening using the Nested Circle dies.

Here is a video to show you how I created this animated slider card.
Check out the Simon Says Stamp blog for more details about this fun new card kit.
I also have a winner to announce from my Altenew blog hop post.
Congratulations Nancy Penir!
