SSS-Perfect Shapes & Big Hugs

Hi there! Today I have a super duper colorful card to share with you featuring the Perfect Shapes & Big Hugs dies by Simon Says Stamp.SSS-Perfect Shapes HugsThis was so fun & deceivingly easy to make. First I die cut a million hexagons out. I considered it an upper body workout:) I used Canson Watercolor paper, which by the way worked fantastically with all the distress inks. I smoothed the in pads onto an acrylic block and simply used a wet brush to quickly paint each hexagon.
SSS-Perfect ShapesI love the vibrant spectrum of colors! I spent a good hour putzing around, shifting & sorting the hexagons until I was happy with the layout.
SSS-Perfect Shapes HugsThen I popped each one up with a foam square as well as the Big Hugs sentiment.
SSS-Perfect Shapes HugsHere’s wishing you a wonderfully bright & vibrant day full of big hugs:) Thanks so much for stopping by!

Mama Elephant-Iconic Letters

Hi there! Today I have a fun project to share featuring the Iconic Letters stamp set by Mama Elephant.Mama Elephant-Iconic LettersI saw this hilarious saying on a t-shirt and thought it would great card. I used the Iconic Letters stamp set along with several delicious Mama Elephant pigment inks to stamp the saying.
Mama Elephant-Iconic LettersJust now realizing that I forgot to add the apostrophe in “don’t”(just ignore that, ha ha) To get the spacing right I used the same technique that I did for this card where I share a video on that. It is time consuming, but I haven’t found a better way to do it yet.
Mama Elephant-Iconic LettersI finally jumped on the “pom pom” train(it’s all Jennifer McGuire’s fault) I added a few and clipped them on the side for fun. Hope this sentiment makes you smile. Laughter is good medicine:) Thanks so much for stopping by!

SSS-“Hopping Along” Limited Edition Card Kit

Hello there! I’m excited to share a project showcasing the latest Hopping Along Card Kit by Simon Says Stamp. This kit has so many fun products in it. I didn’t know where to start! The first thing that popped out at me was the unique die that’s included in the kit. It’s a Train Track slider die. How fun is that?
SSS-Hopping AlongTo begin I embossed the gorgeous Mod Flower Background stamp in clear and then blended some delicious, springy colors including the brand new ink color that is part of the kit…Orange Slush(love!)
SSS-Hopping AlongI used the Easter Express Doodle Pop sticker for my slider image. Do you know how painful it was to use that one sticker? I might have to buy 10 more because they are so perfect with the Train Track slider die.
SSS-Hopping AlongHere’s a video to show you how I created this fun card.
