Joy for You Holiday Tag Kit

Hi there! Today I’m sharing a couple of cute, little tags using the latest Holiday 2020 Tag Kit by Simon Says Stamp.

SSS-Christmas Tree Tag & Outline, Joy for You

I used the adorable Christmas Tree & Outline die that is included in the kit as well as embossed sentiments for both tags from the Joy for You stamp set. For this first tag I adhered strips of solid colored cardstock and then die cut the strips using the Outline Tree die. I adhered moonstones for the ornaments on the tree and black tie twine.

I used one of the Large Tag dies for both tags with vanilla cardstock & gray pattern paper. For this tag I used rainbow sparkle jewels for the ornaments with peppermint twine. I also added a small little hill for the tree using one of the Stitched Slopes & Hills dies.

Happy Birthday Vivien

Hi there! Today I have a sweet, little birthday card that I created for my daughter’s friend, Vivien.

Pinkfresh Studio-My Favorite StoryPinkfresh Studio-My Favorite Story

I don’t often show all the many birthday cards that I create for my daughter’s friends. I make many, and they are almost always very last minute. I usually never have time to photograph them, but today I made a point to share this one because it is so cute. My daughters always want everything personalized for their friends. This is where alpha dies and alpha stickers come in handy. For this card I used the Pinkfresh Studio Noteworthy Puffy Alpha Stickers.

Pinkfresh Studio-My Favorite Story

For the pattern papers I used the My Favorite Story 6×6 pack along with a few circle dies. My favorite is that layered bow. I used the My Favorite Story Fabric Bows. I also added a Reverse Birthday sentiment strips that was die cut with one of the Sentiment Label dies. For embellishment I used a few enamel dots in coordinating colors.

This is an extra special birthday card for Vivien. Vivien is a sweet little Hungarian girl who has only been in Germany for a year or so, just like Emma. Vivien cannot speak any English so it forces both girls to speak German to each other. You should hear their cute, little squeaky voices just jibber-jabbering away to each other in German with so many giggles.

I get teary eyed just looking at this card that Emma addressed to Vivien. It says, “You are my best friend. When I came to Germany I thought I wouldn’t have any friends, but I have one. My only friend is you!” I’m not sure if her grammar and spelling are perfectly correct, but it’s perfectly full of heart:) Here’s Vivien & Emma together.

The birthday present was full of pink glittery slime and stickers. Gotta love 10 year old girls! Thanks so much for stopping by!

For the wreath I used one pine branch die from the Lovely Layers: Pinecone die set. I die cut them out of several shades of Color Crush cardstock. The gold foil bow is also from the Lovely Layers: Pinecone die set. For the sentiment I used the Joy stamp & die set, and finished it off with a few tucked in Holographic Rainbow sequins.

From Our Home to Yours

Hi there! Today I’m sharing a colorful project that could be fun for the holidays, but also all year round.

SSS-Neighboorhood die, CZ Good Cheer

I used the Neighborhood die Simon Says Stamp with stripes of solid colored cardstock for a colorful background. You know how I love to strip it up:) You could do this in so many color variations.

SSS-Neighboorhood die, CZ Good Cheer

For the sentiment I used the CZ Good Cheer stamp set embossing it in white onto black and used a sentiment label die to cut it out. I popped the entire panel onto a Fog base.

Case Me a Christmas Card

Hi there! Today I’m joining my crafty friend, Michelle, for her Case Me a Christmas Card Challenge.

SSS-CZ Chunky Trees & Holly, CZ Joy, CZ Good Cheer

My card above was inspired or “CASEd” by Michelle’s below. I mimicked her diagonal stripes using some Concord & 9th cardstock. I also kept with her placement of the sentiment & holly, but I did change the orientation. I’m a rebel like that:)

For my card I used the CZ Joy die along with the CZ Chunky Trees & Holly die set.

I added a coordinating embossed sentiment from the CZ Good Cheer stamp set.
