Basic Square designs

Hi there! Today I’m sharing another geometric experiment using the Basic Square die set by Simon Says Stamp. I die cut several squares using solid colored cardstock and then trimming those squares into triangles.

SSS-Basic Squares & CZ All the Thanks

For the sentiment I used the CZ All the Thanks stamp set and embossed it in white onto black cardstock.

Bold Hello

Hi there! Just popping in to share a project using the Bold Hello die by Simon Says Stamp. This cute little die was included in the latest March Card Kit.

SSS-Bold Hello

I die cut a bunch of hellos using solid colored cardstock and then popped them up on an angle and framed it using some Fog cardstock.

This is a great way to use up some of those scraps, although, the more I try to use up my scraps, the bigger my scraps grow. How does this happen? It’s one of life’s great mysteries:) Thanks so much for stopping!

Circle Patterns

Hi there! Today I have a fun project to share with you that was inspired by a painting I saw on Instagram. The artist’s name is Angela Johal and below is her glorious acrylic masterpiece.

I wanted to try and adapt this onto a card. Wasn’t sure if it was possible, but I was going to try. I used 12 different shades of solid colored cardstock along with the Nested Circle dies to create the rings.

SSS-Nested Circle Dies, CZ Love You

For the sentiment I used the CZ Love You dies. If you look closely you can see that some of the rings…well, almost all of the rings are not matching up precisely. This bothers me to no end:) I don’t think I’ll be able to rest until I can get this idea with a cleaner result, but I am loving where this is headed.

The Stamping Village Birthday Fest

Hi there! Today I’m joining Pinkfresh Studio for The Stamping Village Birthday Fest. We are showcasing the new Happy Birthday stamp set, which is a fun collaboration between 12 different stamp companies within The Stamping Village. $5.00 from every Happy Birthday stamp set will benefit The Dreaming Zebra Foundation. They supply schools & organizations with free art & music materials to further art education. I love that so much!

Pinkfresh Studio-The Stamping Village Birthday Fest

I’ve created two projects featuring the Happy Birthday stamp set. For this first one I stamped the cake pedestals and cakes in pastel rainbow colors. I added jewels to top each cake off some rainbow bling. For the sentiment I used the Essentials: Classic words die set.

This next card uses some beautiful pattern paper from the latest My Favorite Story 6 x 6 Paper Pack. I stamped a layered cake along with the sentiment from the Happy Birthday stamp set.

Jane’s Doodles-Wild

Hi there! Today I have a project using the adorable Wild stamp set by Jane’s Doodles.

Jane's Doodles-Wild

This card required a lot of masking. I used full sticky post-it notes for my masking. While the images were masked I blended Cracked Pistachio & Mermaid Lagoon for the background. I also flicked the same colors over the blending.

Jane's Doodles-Wild

After blending, I removed the masks and colored the images with Copics as well as stamping the sentiment. I also added a few sparking clear sequins for a little bling.
