5K YouTube Subscribers Video Hop

Welcome to a video hop celebrating 3 of our friends – Ardyth, Kathya, and Jenny. They all recently reached 5k subscribers on YouTube, so they are co-hosting a hop full of happy cards to celebrate!

SSS-Perfect Shapes, Bold Hello

I’ve created a couple of colorful geometric projects using the Perfect Shapes dies by Simon Says Stamp. I die cut several squares using Waffle Flower Enchanted & Unicorn papers.

I trimmed each die cut square into quarters to piece back together to create this fun patter. For the sentiment I used the Bold Hello word die.

Here’s a video to show you how I created these cards.

The next stop on the video hop is the lovely Erica!

If you get lost along the way, the list of participants is on Ardyth, Kathya’s Jenny’s blogs.

We also have a number of fabulous sponsors and prizes that will be awarded randomly throughout the hop to commenters, so the more you hop and comment, the better your chance of winning a prize!

Deadline for comments is June 5 and prizes will be announced on Ardyth, Jenny and Kathya’s blogs on June 6. Prizes must be claimed by June 30, 2020.

I’m not patient enough to try to recreate what you’ve made Laura, but I think the end result looks fantastic and I always love seeing you use geometric designs for some beautiful patterns and color mixes. Congrats to Ardyth, Kathya and Jenny for achieving 5K subscribers!

These are fabulous, Laura! And, yes, I do want to try this now; however, I was wondering why you didn’t cut the white squares the same size as the original squares. Was it to give you a bit of wiggle room?
