New! Cozy Hugs Release

Hi there! Today I’m sharing a couple of projects using the fun, new Cozy Hugs release by Simon Says Stamp.

My first card features the new Basic Box Card Christmas Tree die set. I used the Basic Box Card die set to create the base with Sea Glass cardstock. I added a couple of snowy hills using the Box Card Borders dies. For the sentiment I used one of the new Reverse Christmas Wishes sentiment strips.

I forgot to mention that included in the Cozy Hugs release is some new Tear-rific Tape in 1/8″ and 1/4″ widths. The 1/8″ tape is perfect for adhering the Basic Box Card together.

This next card uses the Basic Box Card Haunted House die set with a Reverse Witch Please sentiment strip. I added a few embellishments from the Magical sequin mix.

Preview! Limited Edition First Night Card Kit

Hi there! Today I am sharing a preview of the upcoming Limited Edition First Night Card Kit by Simon Says Stamp. This kit will ship not ship until mid-late October, but is available for pre-order today!

For my card I blended a soft night sky using distress inks in: Chipped Sapphire, Prize Ribbon, Mermaid Lagoon and Cracked Pistachio. I then took the Holy Stars Stencil that comes in the kit and blended over the night sky using the same colors.

I stamped the cityscape image from the First Night stamp set that is included in the kit using Earl ink and then stamped the nativity images and sentiment with Versafine Onyx Black ink. I finished it off with a few Spring Showers sequins.

STAMPtember® with Tim Holtz

Hi there! STAMPtember® keeps rolling with a fabulous collaboration by Tim Holtz featuring a festive cling stamp set and stencil.

I started by stamping the scene with Intense Black ink onto Hammermill. I blended night sky using Tumbled Glass, Prize Ribbon and Chipped Sapphire. For the rest I colored with Copics. I used white pigment ink with the stencil to add a soft snowfall and then embossed the sentiment in white onto black cardstock.

There are several smaller owl images in this set I stamped repeatedly with Intense Black ink and colored with Copics. I added a sentiment from the Reverse Witch Please Sentiment Strips.

Poppy Field

Hi there! Today I have a card using the fun, new Limited Edition STAMPtember® Card Kit. The kit contains a gorgeous stamp & stencil set called Poppy Field.

I used several Pawsitively Saturated Inks with the Poppy Field Stencil Set. I embossed a sentient from the Poppy Field Stamp Set in white onto black cardstock.

Limited Edition Halloween 2022 Kit

Hi there! Simon Says Stamp just released a super fun, Limited Edition Halloween Card Kit called Home Sweet Haunted Home. I have a couple of projects to share featuring products from this kit. For my first card I used the Halloween Candy Stencil Set. For the sentiment I used the Home Sweet Haunted Home Stamp Set. I die cut the circle sentiment using a circle die and popped it up onto a kraft circle tag that comes in the kit.

This next card features the delicious looking Tim Holtz Idea-ology Confections Candy Corn included in the kit. I created a simple shaker card with Royal Purple cardstock and added a frame die cut out of Black Glitter cardstock. I used more circle dies to create the shaker & frame. For the sentiment I used the Home Sweet Haunted Home Stamp Set.

I embossed the floral swag in clear and blended the color using detail round blending brushes. I fussy cut the blended image and popped it up framing the left side of the sentiment.
