Preview! Limited Edition First Night Card Kit

Hi there! Today I am sharing a preview of the upcoming Limited Edition First Night Card Kit by Simon Says Stamp. This kit will ship not ship until mid-late October, but is available for pre-order today!

For my card I blended a soft night sky using distress inks in: Chipped Sapphire, Prize Ribbon, Mermaid Lagoon and Cracked Pistachio. I then took the Holy Stars Stencil that comes in the kit and blended over the night sky using the same colors.

I stamped the cityscape image from the First Night stamp set that is included in the kit using Earl ink and then stamped the nativity images and sentiment with Versafine Onyx Black ink. I finished it off with a few Spring Showers sequins.

Hi there! STAMPtember® keeps rolling with a fabulous collaboration by Tim Holtz featuring a festive cling stamp set and stencil.

I started by stamping the scene with Intense Black ink onto Hammermill. I blended night sky using Tumbled Glass, Prize Ribbon and Chipped Sapphire. For the rest I colored with Copics. I used white pigment ink with the stencil to add a soft snowfall and then embossed the sentiment in white onto black cardstock.

Poppy Field

Hi there! Today I have a card using the fun, new Limited Edition STAMPtember® Card Kit. The kit contains a gorgeous stamp & stencil set called Poppy Field.

I used several Pawsitively Saturated Inks with the Poppy Field Stencil Set. I embossed a sentient from the Poppy Field Stamp Set in white onto black cardstock.

Limited Edition Halloween 2022 Kit

Hi there! Simon Says Stamp just released a super fun, Limited Edition Halloween Card Kit called Home Sweet Haunted Home. I have a couple of projects to share featuring products from this kit. For my first card I used the Halloween Candy Stencil Set. For the sentiment I used the Home Sweet Haunted Home Stamp Set. I die cut the circle sentiment using a circle die and popped it up onto a kraft circle tag that comes in the kit.

This next card features the delicious looking Tim Holtz Idea-ology Confections Candy Corn included in the kit. I created a simple shaker card with Royal Purple cardstock and added a frame die cut out of Black Glitter cardstock. I used more circle dies to create the shaker & frame. For the sentiment I used the Home Sweet Haunted Home Stamp Set.

Hi there! The next STAMPtember® collaboration just released and this time we are featuring the gorgeous Beautiful Moments stamp set by Memory Box.

I embossed the floral swag in clear and blended the color using detail round blending brushes. I fussy cut the blended image and popped it up framing the left side of the sentiment.

Sparkling Season

Hi there! Popping in to share a beautiful, new STAMPtember® collaboration called Sparkling Season designed by Gina K Designs for Simon Says Stamp.

I loved this large five-pointed snowflake image and stamped it with Versamark ink onto pie-shaped pieces of solid colored cardstock. For the sentiment I used one of the Reverse From Me Christmas Sentiment Strips.

New! Tim Holtz Watercolor Pencils

Hello! Today I am so excited to take a first look at the new Tim Holtz Watercolor Pencils. I was so fortunate to receive the Set 2 of 12 pencils to try out, but there are actually 36 colors available.

I quickly swatched out the twelve colors below and they are gorgeous! I used Arches Cold Press Watercolor paper and a simple brush with water to blend out the colors. The start very pigmented and blend out seamless and smooth.

I wanted to create a simple, colorful card that showcased several of these colors so I simply drew stripes with the pencil and blended them out with a brush. I added an embossed sentiment from the XL Teacher Greetings stamp set.
