Hi there! Today I’m sharing a project using the beautiful Vintage Garden stamp set included in the August Card Kit by Simon Says Stamp.

SSS-Vintage Garden, Alstroemeria Stem, Blossom Vine

I love this gorgeous scripty sentiment paired with these colorful floral die cuts. I used the Alstroemeria Stem & Blossom Vine dies with Concord & 9th cardstock. I added some detail shading to each bloom using small round blender brushes. The panel is popped up onto a Smoke cardbase, included in the August Card Kit.

My project features the Layered Rose Leaves dies. I used several shades of solid colored cardstock and added an embossed sentiment from the On the Horizon stamp set.

Dream Big Release

I have a couple of projects to share using products from the Dream Big Release. This first card features the Layered Hummingbird Die Set. For the background I used the Dibble Dot Embossing Folder, and for the sentiment I used the Big and Bold Stamp & Dies.

You Shine Card Kit Inspiration

Hi there! Today I’m sharing a couple of projects using the July Card Kit by Simon Says Stamp.

SSS-You Shine

For this first card I used some of the pattern paper included in the kit and die cut a circle window using a Nested Circle Die. I embossed several of the small blooms from the You Shine Stamp Set in clear and blended the color using several Pawsitively Saturated Inks. The sentiment is also from the You Shine Stamp Set.

For the second card I used more of the gingham pattern paper included in the kit. I adhered one of the Tim Holtz Window Frames and added a window box from the You Shine Stamp Set.

Creating Simple Stencils to Color Images

Hi there! Today I’m sharing a simple, lemon project featuring the You Shine Stamp Set included in the July Card Kit by Simon Says Stamp.

I created my own stencils so that I could blend the color onto the larger lemon images. I also created masks using masking paper to blend a subtle Seafoam onto the background.

Hi there! The gorgeous new Uncharted Mariner Distress Color by Tim Holtz just released! Such a perfect color for a nautical theme!

I blended the background using Uncharted Mariner Distress Ink with the I Like Small Dots Stencil. The beach umbrella and sentiment are from the CZ Beachy Keen set.

SSS-Retro Tiles, Reverse Chill Summer Sentiment Strips

For my project I used the new Retro Tiles Background Cling Stamp with several Pawsitively Saturated Inks. I masked off the different shapes so that I could stamp them in separate colors. For the sentiment I used one of the Reverse Chill Summer Sentiment Strips.
