Hi there! Today I have such a super simple & sweet holiday card to share with you.
I used the Christmas Tree Stitching die and threaded some green embroidery floss, adding some random beads that I scrounged up from the bottom of our bead bin.
We have a crafty bead bin bursting with all kinds of cute beads. I had a weak moment a few months ago at my local craft store. I had all the kids with me. I was outnumbered. They talked me into buying a ton of cute beads. I might have started the whole thing. I lose my mind in the craft store. They swore they were gonna make beaded bracelets, sell them on etsy and become millionaires.
Needless to say, we’ve made a few personalized bracelets for gifts and here I am using them on my cards. But seriously, how cute is this? Might be one of my most favorite cards ever! I added a simple embossed sentiment using the Tiny Words Christmas stamp set.
Guess what? I have an extra Christmas Tree Stitching die to give away.
Leave me a comment telling me your biggest crafty weakness: stamps, dies, paper, beads, all of the above, etc.?
I’ll pick a random winner from the comments.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Limited Edition Holiday Card Kit Blog Hop
November 16, 2018
Hi there! Today I’m joining Simon Says Stamp for a blog hop featuring the AWESOME Limited Edition Holiday Card Kit Comfort & Joy!
I’ve created two projects using the contents of the kit.
For this card I embossed the gorgeous Poinsettia Background cling in white onto Schoolhouse Red cardstock. Then I embossed the large snowflake image from Comfort & Joy in Antique Gold along with the sentiment embossed in white. I used one of the Sentiment Label dies to die cut the embossed sentiment.
For this next card I used a couple pieces of ephemera from the Tim Holtz Idealogy Christmas Ephemera pack included in the kit.
I’m in love with that vintage hymn ephemera! I mounted it onto some plaid pattern paper by Echo Park, also included in the kit. For the Christmas Wreath ephemera, I punched a hole in the top and tied a bow using the green organdy by May Arts, included in the kit.
Follow along the blog hop to see more amazing inspiration using this fun new kit!
Thanks so much for hopping by!

Critter Sweaters
November 4, 2018Hi there! Today I’m sharing a fun project featuring the Critter Sweaters by Simon Says Stamp.
How fun are theses critters with their hilariously adorable sweaters? I used a the I Love Donuts set to stamp the circles onto the bear’s red sweater. Then I added Postbox Red Nuvo Vintage Drops to the centers of the embossed circles. I used Copics to add the rosy cheeks and accents to the critter faces.
For the kitty cat’s sweater I embossed a snowflake from Ornamental and added Bonnie Blue Nuvo Vintage Crops. Tonic Studios is having a Nuvember celebration this month highlighting their various Nuvo products each day on their Instagram feed. Today I’m featuring the Nuvo Vintage Drops. They are really unique in that they dry matte which is a fun look to try.
To frame the critters I used a large Nested Circle dies onto Soft Navy cardstock. I added a sentiment from Coolest Yulest using the Sentiment Label dies to create the sentiment banners. The pattern paper behind the critters is from Pinkfresh Studio.
Make sure and check out the Tonic Studios Instagram feed to see the fun Nuvo products being highlighted all month long! Thanks so much for stopping by!

Happy Halloween
October 30, 2018Hi there! Just poppin’ in with a few fun projects especially for Halloween. I’m not much of a super scary Halloween type, but I do love a really colorful, festive and candy-filled holiday:)
I used some fun Halloween products from Simon Says Stamp.
This first card uses the Spider Web background cling, which I embossed in clear and blended Deep Purple over top. I die cut the Ghost Boo die and layered another underneath that was ink blended with Carved Pumpkin and Squeezed Lemonade. I LOVE the festive color contrast on this one.
This next card features the Bwahaha stamp & die set.
To begin I blended a background panel with Aged Mahogany, Candied Apple, Carved Pumpkin & Wild Honey. I stamped the haunted house from Bwahaha with Thistle, Hydrangea and Deep Purple. I inked up the moon with Lemon Chiffon, Duckling & Sunshine.
Hope you have a fun, safe and sweet Halloween! Thanks so much for stopping by!
Stitched Thanks
October 29, 2018Hi there! Just popping in to share a fun project that I created using the Christmas Tree Stitching die.
I’ve been wanting to get into this whole stitching on cards thing for a while. This was an easy way to try it out without feeling too overwhelmed. I used the Chritmas Tree Stitching die and die cut it four times into a square panel.
I used eight different colors of floss to stitch the angled lines. For the sentiment I used the Thanks die. I die cut four of the “thanks” word dies and adhered them together with spray adhesive for dimension. Then I popped the stitched panel onto a Fog card base.

Fun & Festive Release Blog Hop
October 11, 2018
Hi there! Today I’m excited to join Simon Says Stamp for their Fun and Festive Release Blog Hop! I have a couple of project to share using some of the awesome new products.
My first project features the Dancing Deer die. For the background I embossed the Mod Trees Background stamp onto Fog cardstock.
I used the Nested Circle dies on Slate & Schoolhouse Red to create a frame for the Dancing Deer. The sentiment is from the Ornamental stamp & die set.
My next card features the Big Picture Book Bear & Hugs dies.
This is such way to give someone money in card, but you could also tuck in some candy or whatever you can fit inside those cuddly hugging arms.
I stamped a sentiment on the the inside of the card using the Punny Animals stamp set.
Here’s a video to show you how I created these cards.

October 6, 2018
Hi there & Happy World Cardmaking Day! Today I’m honored to join Simon Says Stamp in a blog hop celebrating this fun day!
Each of the designers have created a project using the Ornate Ornaments set. To begin I embossed the ornaments in clear and blended Distress Oxide Inks over the embossing. Then I die cut the ornaments using the coordinating Ornate Ornaments dies.
For the background I blended more distress Oxides onto Bristol using Peacock Feathers, Cracked Pistachio, Spiced Marmalade & Candied Apple. I also flicked a little bit of liquid watercolors using Aquamarine & Clementine. I used gold thread to make the ornaments look as if they were hanging and adhered a few Crystal Reflections sequins & some drops of glossy accents to finish it off.
Show us what you’re making today for World Card Making Day! Upload your cards at the InLinkz on the Simon Says Stamp blog by 11:59 pm on Saturday, October 13th, and 1 random winner will receive a $100 gift card from Simon Says Stamp and one random winner will receive a one year subscription to Scrapbook & Cards Today magazine!

Limited Edition STAMPtember® Card Kit
September 27, 2018
The Limited Edition STAMPtember® Card Kit and it is SO MUCH FUN! I’ve created a few card using some of the contents starting with this super cute Preztel die.
I die cut the pretzel and blended it with Scattered Straw & Vintage Photo. Then I took a white gel pen to add the dots for salt. I blended Blueprint Sketch & Mermaid Lagoon on the background and embossed a sentiment from the I Chews You stamp set that is also included in the kit.
This next little card uses the No Prob Llama Doodle Pop 3D Stickers by Doodlebug Design. There are three of these sweet sticker sets included in the kit.
I blended Worn Lipstick, Spiced Marmalade & Squeezed Lemonade onto the background and simply popped the sticker onto the card. How sweet is this Llama with the glossy nose? This is a small little lunch note or gift card size.
One last card using the gumball machine image from the I Chews You stamp set.
I colored the image with Copics, adding some highlights with a gel pen. I die cut a circle window opening to frame the image onto Island Blue cardstock and embossed a sentiment, also from I Chews You.
Check out the Simon Says Stamp blog for a fun reveal video and more info on the awesome new Limited Edition STAMPtember® Card Kit. Thanks so much for stopping by!
