Hi there! Today I’m joining Simon Says Stamp for Day 2 of their Best Days Release Blog Hop. There is so much amazing inspiration showcasing the awesome new Best Days Release.
I have a couple of projects to share using some of my faves from the new release. I just had to play with a few more of the adorable new Picture Book dies. My first card features the Picture Book Walrus. I die cut the Walrus with white cardstock and blended Salty Ocean, Pumice Stone & Hickory Smoke to add the color.
For the background I embossed the hexagon images from Bubble Tracker in clear and then blended Distress inks over in Candied Apple, Spiced Marmalade, Squeezed Lemonade, Twisted Citron and  Mermaid Lagoon. The sentiment is from the Emphatic stamp set.
My next card showcases the Picture Book Lamb die.
For the background I stamped the Reverse Polka background cling using Sea Glass & Maliblue ink. I die cut a window opening using one of the Nested Circle dies and added a sentiment from Oh Baby.
Here is a video to show you how I created these cards.
